....I took Tom by the terminal today to see the Wonder before she sailed. Sooo pretty! He's excited, like I anticipated, so I might even get to sneak a cruise pre-inaugural!

I want to! Thats the thing about marriage... I can't just take off without him.... Especially since I'm not really working right now

He's still adjusting to being "home". We're only four days into this one and he's itching to go home.
I can't really understand it (and he's not an expert at explaining it) but right now he likes it at home more than anywhere else. I've mentioned cruising before but he's apprehensive about being on a ship and says its because of service-related stuff, but I don't get it because this war he served in was in the desert.

Oh well. I told him he needs therapy to get over this vacation fear!

What is wrong with these boys?! Seriously?!

I'm going back to Orlando in two weeks, I'm already pumped!

Of course this one is with my mother.. and only for three days, not a week. I'll take however much sunshine I can get, though!

Unfortunately, classes start Monday... and the bank I used to work for (the one that had me bouncing between three branches working tons of hours and then laid me off) has offered me a position I can't refuse at the only branch in the area I haven't worked at!
However, my assistant manager will be my old favorite co-worker from when I was first hired and my branch manager will be my old assistant manager that I loved. None of the people that made me want to hit my head on a wall!
It'll mean driving 30-40 minutes one way to Ohio but they're upping the hourly wage to cover the gas since they don't have to train me. It'll be weird working a steady job again, but we're super-excited to get a mortgage discount and start seriously house hunting!

There are four branches here with this bank. I started at the one closest to me, but management changed and things were HORRIBLE. My original manager had gone to a different branch, and fought to move me to his branch when his PT teller left. I took the job but no one would fill the position I left in the horrible branch and then another teller quit there, too.
They started using me to fill in at the horrible branch and the two places this other manager was over. I was working 50-60 hour weeks and using my lunch break to get from horrible branch to where I was supposed to be working anyway.
Then the assistant manager at the horrible branch threatened to quit (assistant managers work as tellers) and they told me the position I held was being eliminated but they'd transfer me back to horrible branch. I told them no way! District manager tried really hard to keep me, but I refused to go back to horrible branch full-time. He said he didn't know things were that bad, etc. So they essentially laid me off from the position I held, but did offer another one which I refused. This was in December.
Long story!

Anyway, our classes start Monday but I don't have anything until Tuesday. I'm still temping at the college bookstore, though, so I'll be in hell even if I'm not in class.
We hit crazy traffic driving back from Pittsburgh's airport yesterday. They were resurfacing the road and had the exit from the mall closed and everything was 1 lane.. it was NUTS!
