Disney Wonder Sept 3-7,2006 Part 2

(And my ticker is sooo wrong. According to my doctor I'm one of the lucky 15% of women that don't get morning sickness. I haven't gotten sick once. Woohoo!:cheer2: )

I wasnt sick with Tim but nauseated the whole time with Amanda.

That's funny. I wasn't sick with either of my boys, but really sick with DD. I always told DH it was his poison Greek sperm! :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :confused3

Wow really only 15% don't? My mom said she didn't have morning sickness for any of us. Although she was put in the hospital when she was pregnant with me. I forget what it was that she had... But because she was sick she got to know the gender and they told her I was gonna be a boy.:rotfl: :confused3 :rotfl2: My poor dad...

You've given me hope! The nurse person also told me that statistically, you're more sick with girls because of all the extra horomones going on (you know, you're making the organs/horomones and stuff so that the baby can have its own baby) and it really screws up with yours. Or that is what they think.

I want a girl but think I'm destined to have a boy! :rotfl:

Well you know...she had 4 girls.;) That's a bizarre theory but ok.:rotfl: I thought it just depended on the person? I mean I think more than 15% of women are having girls. Don't give up hope though you could have a girl!!:goodvibes I want all girls too I want to try and mimic my mom's every move!:rotfl:

No, sorry. I didn't mean that you only get sick if you're having a girl!
There are 15% of women who don't EVER get sick (according to my doctor and a few books, actually?) and women who have had both boys and girls say they got more sick with their girls than their boys and their theory is because of all the extra horomones kicking around in there.

Your mom has given me hope that I can have a girl and not get sick! :rotfl:
(Even though my mom said she didnt get sick with me or my brother, either. I guess I inherited it from her! WooHOO!)
She also couldn't eat cheese when she was pregnant for me... which she told me after she handed me a plate of cheese and I gagged and said "Yeah, I won't be doing cheese for awhile."

Creepy how much we've had in common. I think it made her teary, :rotfl: .

Awww. It sounds like you're getting a little closer though!:goodvibes Yeah there's something my sister won't eat now or is cautious about eating now cause it made her sick during her pregnancy but I can't remember what it is?:confused3

Yeah, I've heard a lot of people through the years say they still can't eat things now because of how sick it made them during their pregnancy.

Our cake was so nifty! :)

That cake is beautiful! It should be Ace of Cakes signature cake (designed by you of course). :goodvibes

Piecey, I want to know what your heart beat is later around the 19th week or so and if you are carrying high or low. I want my turn to make a prediction. :wizard:

I hear trick or treaters' coming, their voices are LOUD! :scared:

Okay. I don't know what you mean high or low (meaning my belly right? :rotfl: ) You're supposed to carry boys low? Or girls? Heck. I don't know anything.

Will do on the heartbeat. I get to FINALLY hear it at ~10 weeks on November 14th! They're going to do an ultrasound at 18 weeks in January... I'm nervous (according to EVERY member of my family I'm going to have twins!) and I don't want to wait that long to find out :scared1:
(My paternal grandmother is a fraternal twin, she had a twin brother :upsidedow )

Our trick or treat was Saturday, it's so weird to me that people are having it tonight! :confused3 Enjoy!

(What are you kids dressed up as?)

brb

Some gobblins just left and Jack sparrow stayed down at the end of the driveway w/ his dog and lantern

R is Wonder Woman, C is Iron man, K is a rainbow princess, and little TJ is a giraffe. Its a (almost) a body suit, but it has a huge stuffed giraffe face on top. That thing is almost as heavy as he is- lol.

Your trick or treat was Saturday? I guess each state / location is different.

Yep, belly high or low. :goodvibes:

Congrats to Holly on her run :cool1: .
Piecey, do you have other reception pictures to share? I'd love to see. How were your parents? Are they happy for you and Tom now?

Ooo same here! (As in your dad's mom right??) Yeah my Oma (German for Grandma) had a twin brother as well. I keep wondering where my twin is at!! It's only supposed to skip a generation!!:rotfl: I have a feeling one of us will pop out twins...I'd really love to have twins!!!:goodvibes (Girls of course.;) )

So far, so good :thumbsup2
I can't take a bath or go swimming for TWO WEEKS  Thanks goodness I can shower or I would go insane! I had to inform L that there can be no baby practice for those 2 weeks either. Sadly, we're missing half of my fertile time because of the surgery.....but hey, it could still happen this month.

I'm hoping I can time it so that I don't miss my friend's wedding next October on the Wonder! I'll be so bummed!
