Disney Wonder Panama Canal May 01, 2016

Yes, I am in charge of the FE. I would need names, ages, stateroom # and an email to send the file to.
I was on the Panama Eastbound back in Sept 13, and I just got off the Wonder on the re positioning from Galveston to Puerto Rico.
Let us know what you need to know and I am sure some of us will have a tip or two.
Hi, great. Now I'm so new to dis board that I'm still trying to figure out how it all works! I would like to know which dinning time you recommend on the wonder for the Panama Canal cruise?! I have two kids (5/9)-I'm unsure if the early dinner time is a good fit?! Also, how do I send you our names and information? Thank you

We do the 2nd seating for a couple of reasons. 1st - we are from the west coast so the time change does make a difference. 2nd - I do like to rush, to dinner or from dinner, I want to see the show then go change and go eat. if you get hungry earlier you just grab a light snack.

This is only our 2nd cruise but we did late dining the first time also. Oh, you can have kids club people come a and escort the kids back to the kids club also.

We also swear by 2nd seating. With Mickey Mouse on board, no kid is sleeping -- our kids stay up in the kids club until they call us to close the club down. You get the first show which is great because they are all awake and alert for the show (and so am I). We do love that kids club comes to pick up the kids to take them back to the club for you !!!!!

Hey Experienced Cruisers,

So we split our five kids up through three cabins (Grandma in one, mom in one, dad in one). We're THRILLED to NOT have four in a cabin for this go-round. HOWEVER I'm trying to book excursions with dad from one room, mom from one room, and the two kids from Grandma's room, and it's not letting me book the kids due to age restrictions (I can only see one room at a time for booking). Aside from calling the cruiseline, anyone know a workaround -- adding all guests on our reservation to one group or something that would allow us to book the kids? I'll call the cruiseline tomorrow, but I thought I'd check here first.

Are all of your rooms linked together? I had ours and our kids linked for our cruises together and they would all show up when I was working on reserving excursions.

For those who are participating in FEs are you planning to ship your gifts to your hotel or directly to the ship? I called DCL to find out the shipping info. for Miami, but I'm leary to ship my gifts there. On the other hand I'm afraid the hotel may lose my package?? Has anyone on here shipped to the Port of Miami?

I am not planning to ship them but will be taking an extra suite case most likely.

We have always carried them with us. Since we keep working on packing less, to make more room for FE's, that works for me. Plus I usually am tweeking something up to the last packing minute.

I'll probably bring an extra suitcase as well. This way I have them with me and like Kathy I may tweak them.

Dee (Missallen), we need to confirm your participation in the scrapbooking exchange, but we're wondering if you are no longer cruising because you've been silent for some time. :flower3: If you are reading this, please check your Inbox as I sent you a message.

Thank you!

So there are no surprises, if you do decide to ship to your hotel, make sure you call and ask if they charge you a storage fee. I inquired at my hotel in FLL, and they will charge me $10 for a 6lb - 20lb box. That still beats overweight luggage or a 3rd piece of luggage fee from the airlines, but I wouldn't want to be surprised I got a fee on my hotel bill, especially if it were a lot more than $10!

Thank you for your info. I have early dinning and I'm still not sure, because 8:15 for late dinning is so late. I guess I have to try and see what works best.

Hi again, how do I private message you to give you all our information for the FE?

If anyone is interested in the Post Card/Recipe exchange that has not already been put on the list. Let me know.

I have a few spots left on the current FE list. Is there anyone that has been debating about joining that has not done so yet, please let me know.

I would like to join FE list. I am new and just learned about FE's as I was searching for what excursions to sign up for, if any. Is it best to email you direct at twokats@peoplescom.net to sign up? I am a Girl Scout leader and swaps are so fun can't believe there is something like it on cruises. Obviously, our first Disney cruise. Thank you for any help getting us on the FE list.
