I haven't seen anyone start a thread for this...so I will give it a whurl!!

This is our first family Disney Cruise and we are so excited :cool1:

We will be traveling with our daughters who will be 3 and 6 at the time.

We are beyond excited, though the thought of having 278 days is killing us!!

Our family will fly down from Minnesota on Saturday the 15th, we will be staying at our Hilton Timeshare that night and then we will pack up some of our stuff and head to port on Sunday morning. After the cruise we will head to WDW for Thursday through Sunday and then unfortunately we will head back home on that Monday!!

Anyone Else On Board??

Our family will be taking part in the Land and Sea Vacation. Staying at the Poly for the first 3 nights. This is our second disney cruise and I am sooo excited. We have three wonderful boys. 13, 5 and 3. My sweet hubby and 13 yr old are not as excited, 13 yr old is a little to cool for Disney and hubby has never really gotten into the whole Disney thing. The little guys are as thrilled as their Mommy, as this is their first trip on the big boat.

:cool1: Yeah I am not alone on board :cool1:

We are all very excited...it is going to be a much needed vacation!!

Do you know what room you are in?

I am counting down the days till I can FINALLY can register for excursions and try to get the Palo brunch!!

WELCOME ABOARD!

I am a little crazed about checking the disney cruise website. I check it at least weekly hoping to add or see something new. Kind of like looking in the refrigerator knowing there is nothing new to eat but hoping I can find something. What excursions are you planning on? We are in room 8566.

I can't wait till we can get it all set up...we are in room 6032.

Not sure about the excursions yet...in Nassau we are going to do the dolphin one since they will let my DD who will be 3 get in the water too...and we want do to the stingrays at CC, but you have to be 5, so we likely will skip that this time and just hang out...what about you guys?

We are really hoping to get the Palo brunch on our day at sea...though I am sure that is wishful thinking since we are the last people to get to sign up.

Hello,
I love this site!!! We are booked on the Nov. 16th Wonder Cruise. The cast includes me (37), hubby (41), our twin boys (6), and baby sister (2). I'm a little concerned having the toddler with us as she's quite a busy bee but nevertheless we are sooooo excited as this is our first cruise ever. We travel tons with the kids but have never been too hip on the idea of being trapped on a ship but from what I read, Disney is the way to go for first time cruisers. We are in room 8082. Look forward to posting to fellow cruisers... :)

Hi there!
We just booked the 7 day land and sea - so will be sailing on Sunday the 13.
It will be my first time in Disney and my first cruise!
I will be joined with my 5 year old son, my husband, my sister and my 82 year old mom!
Cant wait!!!:cool1:

Just booked. Disney cruise seems to be the rave with everyone I know...Guess I'm the last to try it out...This should be an excellent trip for the kids, and the wife as well...Me (Brian) 38, Kate (the boss) 40, sons Brendan 8, Jacob 6...all set up room 7046...

Fyi keep your hands and feet away from my mouth if you see me in the buffet line..

WAHOO we are finally getting some people aboard!! And it is very exciting to see lots of kiddos aboard...I am sure they will have fun together! :cool1:

I feel like I should be preparing more for this, but I dont know what to do!
My son is so excited...The 5/6 year olds will be taking over the ship!

Glad to see the kids will have plenty of playmates! Are you kidding me?:rotfl2: Do know the mileage I am getting out of this with my 5 year old??? He is on his BEST behaviour, as he knows that Mickey wont see him if he isnt good for the next 2 and a half months!!!

:rolleyes1 I know I am evil, but hey! A mom's gotta do what a mom's gotta do!

so we've vacationed at the Atlantis a couple years back and decided we'd like to do the excursion there when we port at Nassau. Any of you others considering that? I just booked a room at the comfort suites so we can have use of the grounds. Not sure what that will be like as when we went last time we stayed at Atlantis and I don't even remember seeing a comfort suites but hopefully it will be ok. Seems much cheaper than booking the excursion through DCL.

We are going to opt out of Atlantis this year. When in Nassua, my mom (82) is going to the dolphin encounter with my sister, and DH and I will take our son swimming with stingrays.

We are a family of five and wanted to go to Atlantis so I booked a room there. I would have done Comfort Suites but they wanted me to book two rooms. Anyway, the room cost 400 but even with taxi and lunch I should still come out ahead of the excursion through DCL. Well if my math is correct :scared1: ,lol. I hope it goes smoothly and works out. Can't be worse then my travel agent last time. Our last cruise I wanted to swim with the Dolphins at the Blue Lagoon. I had my DH and DS talked into it and when we got on the cruise I was informed we only had the day trip to the Blue Lagoon. There was nothing I could do the Dolphin excursion was booked. I was so mad and sad at the same time. Then we sat next to the cutiest little family on the boat ride over and their little boy kept chanting "I get to swim with the Dolphins!". I had to laugh thru my tears.
