I was looking at recent Navigators, The Muster/Lifeboat Drill is at 4pm. The Ship suspends all services at 3:30pm So i believe a 3:05-3:10pm Start time is Great! That allows everyone to grab a "refreshment" and visit the spa for the drawing (I'am amazing, repeat, repeat)

I think me and my husband are more excited then the kids. This will be their first cruise so I don't think they have any clue how much fun they are going to have. My fish extenders are done and already in a suitcase.

I was thinking the same thing, I have a viny "Cruise Critic" banner that I had made for the meet & greets on other cruises. If we come up with a group name I can put either a banner or sign together for our cruise.
The wedding is over and now it's all cruise.

What is an LGM, why can't I figure out what that means?

Also, I think picking a group name and just putting a sign on the tables would be good....you know, the folded cardboard thing they do for "reserved" tables. The sign could just say "Disboards Group" or something...

By the way, anyone who wants to join the second FE should let me know today. I am closing the group and sending the final count out to the participants tonight. It is a really small group, but I think we could do 2 gifts per person to make it more fun.

Thanks! I heard about the Home Depot thing and I was planning to make a stop to pick up some this week. Great!

If lime green is our thing, then I will just get four extras and stick them on each of us. Just look for the family of four with the lime green mickey head stickers on their shirts! That will be us - The Zwicker Family!

Could you please re-post the final FE list, or send us an Excel spreadsheet with cabin info? I know you posted it a while back when the FE deadline passed, but I also saw a some people posted corrections to the list after that.

Thanks again for organizing all this. Our family is sooooooo excited! Even though my 7-year-old broke two bones in his arm a few days before Halloween, and will be wearing a cast during the cruise. We WILL still have fun.

I've never participated, but plan to this time. Apparently you go tour the spa during the open house on the first day and get a ticket for a drawing that is usually held at 3:00. You have to be present to win. It's discussed a bit in this thread.

Hi, is everyone up for a new family to still join I am very embarrassed...I had originlly signed up, but sort of got off track. This is my first time to the fish extenders and I was a bit lost on what to do! We just had a new baby (this will be her first cruise) and have a boy, 7 and another daughter 5 and Our family would love to still participate, we have our fish extenders......let me know. Hope to meet everyone soon

For the spa, you just show up and they will give you a tour of the facilities and services. I believe it is open from when DCL begins boarding until the drawing not 100% sure.

It was a great tour. They showed you the services and the stuff that is free. The workout room, the locker room, etc. also toured the rainforest room. I purchased 2 day passes for that room. I loved it. You can get a weeks pass, but unless you know you will use the room EVERYDAY it isn't worth it.

Then there is a drawing for free services. You have to be present to win. If your not there, they redraw a name. I didn't win, but the next day I received a certificate for $100 off a couples massage in a spa villa . I made an appointment for the 75 min villa and they gave us the 130 min villa. I think they made a mistake. So accidentally, my visit to the spa saved us about $250.

We are in the teens.

Now I have to remember to concentrate on work.

My FE gifted are almost done. But it is so difficult to work on the trip after the kids are in bed. And we almost slipped once. We have to remember not to say cruise, it's a wedding. My kids are never going to trust me again. Every time I say we are going somewhere they are going to think that we are going to Disney.

We are so excited too! I can't believe it is coming up so quickly...need to get packed! How cool to be surprising your kids...do you think they have any idea? May have to pretend to have a wedding onboard

They have no idea. They don't know yet that people don't get married during the week (usually). Since my parents are on the cruise too, we told them that we are going to a family reunion wedding for my dads side of the family. They don't know any of that side of the family, they all live in NY.

This is what they think: we drive out Sun and there is a small get together on Sunday afternoon so we have to be there by 3pm, mon we are all going to a beach (beach clothing needed) and then a b-b-q get together, tues is the rehearsal dinner and it is semi formal, wed is the wedding (formal clothes), thur is a reunion get together, and friday we will drive home. That explains a week off of school and all the odd clothing choices. Dd is complaining. She won't have fun and is missing a week of school. DS is excited for an extra week off, but is hoping he has boy cousins to hang with, at home he is the only boy.

Steve: I'm looking forward to our drink. It will be wonderful to spend some time with you. My parents are looking forward to meeting you.

Looks like Lynnze is in the first FE, so I am going to send a message to a few others to make sure everyone is covered. Then, I will close the second FE tomorrow and send out the email to our group (only 3 families in the second FE).
