Hi all,

We just came back from an excellent Disney Magic Cruise (our first Disney Cruise) and immediately booked our 2nd Disney cruise on the Wonder for
October 9, 2011. We can't wait to see Mexico.

My three children will be (DD9),(DD7),(DS5). :dance3::dance3:

Anyone else?

I will put a list together for anyone who decides to book this cruise.

:littleangel::littleangel:popcorn::

DH and I are booked for this one too!!! Can't wait!! We booked it while we were on the Magic in October.

Hello! We are also booked for this cruise. My husband and I went on our first cruise on the Magic in October and picked this cruise to be our second. BUT, when we got home, we decided 2 years was too long to wait, so we also booked an Eastern for 2010!:cheer2:

Looks like the Mexican Riviera will be our third cruise. We are so looking forward to cruising from our side of the country.

Add us to the list, please. This will be our first cruise, so we are excited.

Our family consists of myself, DH, and three kids (DS 6, DS 4, and DD 2).

Look forward to seeing you there!

Hello to everyone in this group. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Monica and I live in Mazatlan, Sinaloa Mexico. For anyone on a future Disney cruise to the Mexican Riviera, I am pleased to make myself available to you for any questions about the city of Mazatlan or country of Mexico.

As for myself, I am a resident of both the United States and of Mexico. I speak both English and Spanish fluently and I have sailed on DCL numerous times and have been a lifelong fan of Disney. Let me say right upfront, I am NOT selling anything nor am I affiliated with any business or tour company. I am only here to help and give honest information and opinions in an attempt to make your time in Mazatlan or Mexico a positive experience.

I hope that everyone will welcome me to the discussion and that I can be of assistance to anyone who has a question about my city or country. I will attempt to check the boards once per day, but should I miss a question, please do not hesitate to send me a private message. I look forward to getting to know everyone!

Gracias,
Monica

We just booked our honeymoon cruise. It's a first for both me and my soon-to-be-husband. We can hardly wait!

Hello. This will be our 1st cruise. Looking forward to relaxing and having fun with the family. My whole family and their families will be cruising and for most of us, our 1st cruise.

Sandy

Hey everyone! We booked this cruise on our Baltic cruise last summer (well, we initially booked 10/23, but switched it to this date around September). It will be me, my husband (we'll both be 31), and our 3 kids, who will be 7 (Madison), 5 (Henry), and 21 months (Scarlett).

Gingermouse and Snoopygirl - Seems like we have some kids who will be the same ages.

Seems like we have a small group from here-maybe we'll get some more people by sail date. I have been checking the cruise and it still seems pretty empty so maybe we'll just end up with the ship to ourselves!

ETA: Snoopygirl and Goofy has my heart, where in AZ are you from? We just moved to Tucson (from Washington, DC) last summer. Glad to see some other "locals" will be aboard!

Just got off the phone w/ MS....had to modify our reservation. My mom has decided not to go on the cruise so now it will just be me and DH!! :cool1: This will be like a 2nd honeymoon....woo-hoo.

We did upgrade our cabin and we had extra points for taking our daughter off the ressie. So now we have a verandah! We'll be in 6084.

Can't wait to meet up w/ eveyone.

Hello all! I am happy to add to your group, as my family will be joining you on the boat.

We are: me - Denise, my dh - Mike, ds - Mark (he'll be 14) and ds - Drew (will be turning 12 on the boat).

We booked when we were on our last cruise over a year ago, this will be our fourth Disney cruise. My kids are soo excited to head back onto the boat.

Has anyone started a list for fish extender exchange? We participated last year and it was a ton of fun.

Sure seems like a lot of people from Arizona are going to be on board.... :)

Well, we (Me - Ryan, DW - Stephanie, DS - Teddy and DD - Ellie) just booked the four of us today, and we're super excited!!! This will be our fourth cruise - we have been on the Wonder twice before in the Bahamas, and our third will be in May on the Dream - but this will be our first 7-night trip. Not only that, the first three cruises were with extended family, but this will be the first with just us.

If anyone is starting a Fish Extender list, we'd love to join in. We've done one every cruise, and it's a lot of fun. We've got GTY status as of now, but as soon as our stateroom number gets settled, I'll let you know. In the meantime, I look forward to catching up with everyone on the boards.

Sure seems like a lot of people from Arizona are going to be on board.... :)

Thanks for reminding me, I need to change my profile!

We actually just moved from Arizona to Arkansas (I know, who does that?). But, we are going on the cruise with some AZ friends who don't post on the boards.

Our last cruise was in 09 out of Port Canaveral and I think there were more AZ people than FL people. Actually, we met several from the same part of Chandler, and ran into my son's school friend as well. Small world.

Hello Everyone!

We booked last month but forgot to check in to DISboards, shame on me! This will be our 4th DCL cruise since 2007 missing in 2010 that was not a good thing for the family however did go to DL in Oct and stayed at our DVC home at the Grand CA.

We have been on the Mexican cruise w/DCL in 2008 and went to the same ports with RCL last year. The embarkment and disembarkment were pretty good as I recall. Both times we parked our rental in front of the pier at a cost of $10 per day. DL is about 35-45 mins away from Long Beach(LB) so you can either visit before or after. If you can, before a cruise is better than after IMO.

If anyone has any questions about the ship, LB, DL and some Mexican ports I will try my best to answer them. Definitely not as well versed abt Mexico as the person who lives there on the thread. I actually have a question: Where is a good place to eat el pasdor? For those of you who may not know, el pasdor is a taco that is made from the shavings of the meat that is on a spinning heating element sort of like a gyro. We simply love it and know of a great place in Puerto Vallarta. Just looking at the intinerary looks like we are going to hit Puerto first and Cabo last. If I am not mistaken the previous other times Puerto was last and Cabo was first. It really doesn't matter. The Wal-Mart in Puerto is where we end up doing a lot of damage buying things to bring back, food and snacks unique to Mexico.

Looking forward to sharing and learning from others!!!

Hey there everyone. We are going to be going on this cruise as well. Very excited to do this cruise. I wonder if the OP will put a list of all the cruisers up on the first post. I will drop the OP a PM to ask.

This will be our third cruise and we are leaving the kids home on this trip. Can't wait. October will be here very very soon.

Me (DH) Chris, (DW) Kim

Hello! I just booked this cruise! :cool1::cool1::cool1: My parents are coming as well. This will be my 2nd Disney cruise. I did Podcast Cruise 2.0 in December on the Wonder. I am really looking forward to this cruise. I had a great time in Dec. but felt like I didn't get to enjoy the ship as much as I would of liked. There were so many events that I didn't really have time to explore. I am looking forward to our sea days to really enjoy the ship.

We might also be interested in doing a FE exchange. Although I guess we would need a new one as ours has Christmas stuff on it!
