We are so excited for this cruise, it is our first Disney anything and our very first cruise.
Shannon,
We haven't had too much discussion here on ideas for packing or things to do on the ship. I think that's because most of us have been on at least one cruise, so I think I'll start that and maybe others will jump in. That way we can all get ideas from each other.
I'll start with a few things that have been helpful to me.
1 - Disney allows you to bring your own alcohol onboard. However, it must be in your carry on. You can take a glass of wine with you to dinner, no charge, but if you take the bottle they will charge you a corkage fee. I believe that was $18.
2 - We usually take a case of bottled water also. Again, must be in your carry on.
3 - A really handy idea is a clear plastic over the door shoe holder. Hang it over the bathroom door and put items in it to keep them handy.
4 - Your suitcase will probably go under your beds as long as you lift up the bed and push it under. The bed frame is lower around the sides than underneath. This gets them out of the way.
5 - Your coffee table telescopes. I didn't know this the first couple of cruises. It is really handy to raise when you have room service or typing on the computer.
Okay, that's enough for now, I could go on and on. Hope this was helpful.
I hope others shout out some 'secrets' or 'ideas' now.
Judy
