Disney Wonder May 25th, 2008 Double-Dippers check in here

Can't make any promises on getting to Home Depot before the end of the week but I will be sure to introduce myself to those of you who do wear them. I posted a picture of my DD, DH and I a few pages back. DD and I have shorter hair now but we still look the same. My stepson will also be with us - he is 27 and looks alot like my husband (just a younger, cuter version ). We have never cruised before so I don't know where to meet in the terminal - maybe close to the model of the ship??

My daughter (she's 25) and I are on the May 25, Disney Wonder Cruise to the Bahamas. We are so excited....can hardly wait to go. We are flying down on Saturday the 24th, spending the afternoon at Magic Kingdom and stopping by Downtown Disney, and then staying overnight at the Hyatt at the airport. We're doing the parasailing at CC on the first day, Atlantis Beach Day in Nassau on Tuesday, and eating dinner at Palo on Sunday and brunch on Wednesday. We heard there are many, many wild fires along the east coast of Florida right now, hope that does not impact our departure on Sunday.

OK I have one of those last-minute "I'm starting to panic" questions.... The travel booklet we received in the mail that contains our cruise documents looks like the first page has been torn out. The tiny perforated edge is still there, but there is nothing attached to it. The first full page in the booklet says "Mailing Information" in the upper right corner. The very last page in the booklet says "Cruise and Airline Contracts" but there is nothing after that. Is this what everyone else's looks like?

Last time we cruised (in 2005) the travel booklet was different and DCL staff tore things out as we checked in. I'm thinking that it's different this time because DCL now has online checkin (and I've printed/completed all the online forms).

Hopefully I'm worrying over nothing!!!

Sorry to hear about all the sick kids Happened to us on a 7 night cruise a couple of years ago (ear infection and Strep)Lucky my wife is a nurse,we carry meds for everything LOL. If any of your kids what to meet up with my son they will probably find him in the Stack playing video games(teenagers )His name is Lyle and he NEVER stops talking

Well, dd was well enough to go back to school yesterday, took her math final, aced it and will graduate tonight. Phew!! The other night ds looked flushed, felt hot and I panicked. I put him to bed with some tylenol, then dh said the house seemed a little hot. I hadn't turned down the thermostat and we hit 110 degrees in Phoenix that day! Duh. My son was fine, just hot.

We are all now officially healthy and I'm gonna start packing tomorrow. Today is just too darn busy with class parties (home room mom) and graduation. I still need a pair of shoes for me. I keep changing my mind about a dress for the more formal/semi-formal night and if I wear my favorite one, I need new shoes. Does anyone else do this? Goodness, I am such a woman - so indecisive. And we decided we needed another large suitcase. Kids are getting older and I thought we could do it with 3 large and one smaller, but we need the larger one. And I need CD's for the video camera. More sunscreen since the kids have been swimming so much, I am low. I have a list and need to hit Wal-Mart sometime today. So much to do, so little time.

Michellecprouty - I am gonna try to get to Home Depot today and get some Mickey Heads for us to laminate, hole punch and hang on our carry ons. So we will be able to be found in the terminal. See you all then!

Glad to hear that everyone seems to be getting better.

Two more days for us and the work/school week is done. We leave first thing on Saturday morning and I can hardly wait...

I have loaded the car-we leave in the morning! Going to Tampa for a few days on the front in! I think the green mickey heads are in a suitcase-will try and remember to get out! I feel like I already know what each of you looks like since we have "communicated" with each other so much!! But, I guess I really don't! I know your "sigees" and that is it! will throw in some safety pins to tag them on! I really want to put a "name" with a face!!!! Everyone have a safe trip! It's almost here! I am just beside myself!! And if David Cook doesn't win IDOL......it won't be a pleasant trip tomorrow!!!

Leaving tomorrow morning. Leave home at 4am to get to the airport at 5am for a 7am flight to Orlando. Will be going to Magic Kingdom and DTD tomorrow...then staying at the Hyatt Saturday evening!

Well, it's cool to hear eveyone packing or leaving. Can't wait!! Deleckidesign, don't feel to bad. We leave tomorrow at 1:40pm. Plan to run 10 miles and cut the yard tomorrow before we go. Packing is close to being done and then we'll be gone.
