Hi everyone,
I haven't posted for a very long time. Just a reminder, this is our 2nd Disney cruise (we did the Med last summer) and we have 2 daughters (Lucy-11, Abby-10).
We have a little crisis...Lucy broke her leg this past weekend while ice skating. She has a broken fibula and tibia and is in a cast up to her mid-thigh. Right now she is in a wheelchair and crutches. We find out on Monday if she will need surgery or just be in a cast for 8-16 weeks! Our cruise leaves 8 weeks from now. The likelihood of her still being in a cast is fairly high. What would you do? Would you still go on the cruise?
We are hoping for the best and plan on telling the surgeon our dilemma. Just wanted to see what experienced cruisers think. My husband is a physician and will be with us on the cruise too.
This was going to be our relax, stay on the ship type cruise since the Med cruise last year was very port intensive and we were barely on the ship.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,
Linda (Lucy's mom)
