Just starting a thread for the March 20th Disney Wonder Cruise

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :thumbsup2

Woohoo!!! Thanks for starting one! I was starting to feel left out. I hope we get a lot of cruisers interested in FE!!!!

It's usually still snowing in Chicago when Spring Break hits in March, so we are VERY excited about this cruise.

I am pretty sure we are going to be on this one! My daughter will be 14 and I am a single mom. Just waiting to book - not ready quite yet with deposit money.

We will be there.... Second cruise. Did Western Caribbean March 2010 on the Magic. Doing this cruise with DH, DD 15, DS 7, DS 5, and DM (my mom). She has never cruised Disney before. So excited to share this with her. We will be celebrating my DH B-Day on 3/22, and our 7 year Wedding Anniversary which happens to be the same day.... To top it off, our DS 5, will be turning 6 on the ship as well, on 3/21! It will be a week long celebration for us. Let's get the party started!

Maybe we can introduce our girls so at least they will know one person going into this.... ? This is my teen's 1st DC.

We will also be on this cruise. It will be our second Disney cruise and my parents first. It will be me 44, dh 47, ds 15 and ds 12. My mother and dad will also be there. I just can't wait. Deanna

What does your son have to say about the Teen Club? My DD 14 is curious... We cruised last time without her and she's a little shy at first. Doesn't know what to expect. Thanks

When we cruised last year, we were on the Magic and the teen club started at 14, so he did not go. Both of my boys are shy and they hang out together on the cruise. My youngest wanted to go to the tween club, but the oldest would not go so needless to say they did not go. Sorry I could not help. Deanna

Does anyone know what any of the excursions will be? Curious about choices and pricing so I can begin a budget. I'm leaving for a weekend Carnival Cruise later today and was wondering if the excursion choices would be similar? Any thoughts....?

We just booked for my DDs spring break. It will be me, DH, DD8 and DD2 at the time. Never done a Mexico cruise before.

I have an old passporter book which I believe is 2008 which was the last time Disney did the Mexican Riveria and it list the Excursions that they had then. So I am hoping that it will be similiar this time. Deanna

Well, I have been sitting on cruisecritic for a few weeks now very lonely because no one has posted on my Roll Call then I saw where someone posted in the Disney forum about this board so I won't be lonely anymore.

We have a group of 5 family's going. Some of them this will be their cruise.

My husband Will and I.
Mark and Gracia, Amanda 11 and Jay 9
Jeff and Wendy, Rena 12, Will 11
Jeff and Lanie and mom, Dalton 9, Brady 4, Colt 2
Steve and Senya, Peyton 9, Colin 7, Kiera 3

We are all very excited to be going on a Disney Cruise. I have done this itinary several times so if anyone has any questions please ask and I will do my best to answer them.

We have 5 groups interested in FE!!! But we will all need to be educated on what we need to do.

How many more days do I have to wait to see Mickey Mouse. I have copies of the navigator when it sailed the Mexican Riveria in 2008 and I have been reading those and I get so excited. Then I come back down to earth and realize that I have almost a year to wait to be with Mickey Mouse, Bummer

It is something that you attach to the Fish that is outside your stateroom door that has pockets. We, or those who want to participate do an exchange with others on the cruise - sort of like Secret Santa but not really secret. You exchange stateroom info via PM closer to the cruise date. People might put in one small gift per stateroom or person, at their choice, but things are generally small and inexpensive or homemade. Think magnets, notepads, candies or small kids toys. Things from your home town are fun to get too. It is fun to come back to your room and see things in your fish extender. My DD loved it and wanted to race back to the room all the time to see what might be there.

Thank you Jaurban for your explanation of FE. I have already start getting my stash even though we have 10 months to go.

Thank you for the explanation! I would love to join you all in doing this! On my first Disney Cruise I remember seeing these hanging from doors, but i didn't know what they were... Now I do! My boys asked about them and I told them that I would find out for our next cruise.... So count us in. I'm going to start on my stash now too since once Sept hits, my year just seems to fly by... and before you know it, we will all be on our way to the Mexican Riviera.. Woo Hoo!:yay:

Awesome, this will be my first Disney cruise, but I am a planning nut so I am always very interested in checking things.

So let the race begin!
