Disney Wonder March 20th 2011 sailing

Well, Andre is 9 and I'm still uncomfortable that he's not listed and your children and Dayita's are also. I emailed our TA too, probably worried for nothing, but checking again anyway.

It's just 5 weeks away and we can't wait. Hubby needs to relax, Andre has never cruised an is excite and being the Disney nut that I am, am counting the days.

We're all totally excited here too. Both my husband and I desperately need a vacation.

I am trying to figure out what to do on the second day in Cabo. We are snorkeling on day one. I'm wondering about Medano Beach. Anyone have any information on this beach?

My friends who regularly go to Cabo told us to go to Baha Cantina its on the south side of the beach? I'm bad with geography, apparently its on the end so it's away from the party crowd. and they have nice loungers. DH and I were thinking our family would just go there hang out on the beach and eat there for lunch on the second day. All the restaurants that line Medano beach will let you use their loungers and stuff if you purchase food.

We like to hang out at the Melia San Lucas. The beach is really nice and it has the best view of Lands End. Thrusday night we are going to eat at our favorite resturant The Trailer Park. If not there we will eat at The Melia. We love Cabo and are planning on renting a Villa there during Thanksgiving. It is an easy flight from San Francisco and the weather in November is the best.

I'm so late in the game at joining in here - but I would love to be a part of the FE & secret Mickey :) I'm traveling with Luke - 7 & Lola - 3, my hubby & parents - I'm so super excited I can hardly stand it - my gf went on the cruise yesterday, can't wait to hear how it went :cheer2:

I have a boarding question - does anyone know what time - or procedure?? Thank you!!

I'll let someone else answer the question about the FE...

Boarding--you need to go make sure you have your check-in completely done, the port check in part has changed since we made the final payment. Now they are asking people to choose a time to arrive at the port. I know many of us are staying at the San Pedro hotels and either taking the hotel shuttle or driving/taxi over to the port in the morning. We're planning on going early, right around the time the port opens, but that's just because we're so excited! LOL. We have a 10:30 time slot, however I don't know how strict they are going to be since a lot of people probably don't know about them yet.

FE: You need to email me your info - Names, ages of kids, and stateroom #. Also include your dis name so I get it on the sheet as well.

Secret Mickey: Email me who you want to sign up for that. Most people are signing up as an individual, but we have one or two families. You can sign up more than one individual in your room as well. For that I need, name, stateroom #, likes, dislikes, favorite character(s) and interests of each person you are signing up.

Here's my email: goofy4disney@gmail.com

One more thing about the FE for everyone, TOMORROW is the last day to sign up!!! So if you have been thinking about it, you have one more day to decide.

Secret Mickey sign-ups end the 20th.

OK thank you guys - didnt know about the check in time - I had done my online check in forever ago! I got 11.30 - guess it could be worse, but I'd rather 10.30 :):) I'm local, so I'll drive down, so I'll be there early!

Thanks for the FE info, I'm emailing!

We finally told our kids about the cruise. They said it's the best Valentines Day ever:thumbsup2....I can finally share my excitement with them.:cool1::cheer2:

Can you tell me more about the Melia? Would we need a day pass, or could we just go and buy food/drinks? We'll have 2 ten year old boys and a 14 year old girl with us- want to make sure it's a good fit for all of us. How much would a cab be for us to get there? Thanks!

hey all, i'm looking for suggestions for younger kids for pv and cabo. we'd like to do one beach day but other than that are open to other ideas. this is our first cruise w/ kids and first ever disney cruise so we have no ideas or even expectations. we'd probably be fine staying on the ship but don't want to miss any "must sees" either.

does either place had a good shopping area for some fun souvies? which of the two is best for beach time? if i remember right (i need to go back and look, but this is easier, lol!) pv has a resort beach day option?

ok lay your ideas on me for kids 3 to 8 please! tia!!

Total is the last day to sign up for the Fish Extender Exchange. If you are on the fence, time to jump off

If you want to join, pm me with your names, kids' ages and stateroom number and we will add you to one of the two lists.

If you haven't given us your room number, please let us know what it is. We will be getting updated spreadsheets out soon.

This our first Disney cruise too, 10th cruise total though. We're taking our 9 yr old grandson and have chosen the dolphin swim in PV, well the observer for me. It's kind of spendy but we'll just do our own thing in Cabo. Gary and Andre may do parasailing in Cabo, not sure.

There is shopping very close to the tender boats in Cabo, many restaurants too. I was sick at PV on our last cruise  and didn't see anything.

I was just checking out the FE thread & I gotta step up my game - holy moly some people have talent, right, I'm off to the drawing board (now if only I had creativity & talent!!) :rotfl2:

The Goofy and Donald lists are final. If you had indicated you wanted to be on the list and have not received a copy of the list, please pm us and we will send one off to you.
Thanks!!

Thanks for the updated FE list Cathy! Question... what happens if we get to upgrade at the port? I know it's a long shot, as it's a full ship... but, just in case. Does anyone have any experience with this? Do I just get to all the DIS'ers cabins on our list and leave our new Cabin #?

If you get updated at the port, leave me a note on the fish outside my cabin 7092. I will update the lists before I deliver them and my gifts to the Donald Group cabins Sunday night. I am also planning on stopping by at the kids meet at 2:30pm. Hope this helps.
Cathy

So how does 7:00 PM sound to everyone at the Doubletree??

I am up for that (I might have replied already too, just can't remember any more). A little meet and greet sounds good.
