YOU A SAINT :worship::worship::worship: Your amazing :worship::worship::worship: THANK YOU !!!!! Can you remove Ashley and Aaron they are going but are opting out of the FE -
Also Hamlett ( ambers guide dog ) has the same diet restrictions as Denver
and Sean and Gemma ( Rick and Ambers kids ) can NOT have any dye Ie . Red dye yellow blue etc - so I would say opt out candy for them unless you want to take the time to read the pkgs .... ANYTHING with dye - They are highly allergic to

Thats it and I think adding in people with those rules is a great idea -
I think Amber and I will make stuff for 25 ? How large is the group whos deciding ? do you know approx how many cabins just for an idea?

Thanks for the info on Randis :-) Im leaving Denver on the ship that day for the excursion and I want to make sure Im not too far away in case something happened ....I think Wendi is going to stay behind and watch him and Amber and I might go riding :-)

I HAVE CRUISE FEVER !!! ANYONE ELSE ????:laughing::laughing::laughing:

Hi Cari,

Thank you for reminding me about Hamlett and Amber's kids - I will update all of that later tonight. :thumbsup2

Hey everyone! I just want to let you know that tonight is the night Ryan and I can book our Palo reservations for the 2 night cruise to nowhere. Kris - you guys can too, just in case you didn't know! I think we decided just to do a Palo brunch on the 2 night, what about you guys?!?

Anyhow - we will let everyone know how it goes and if we are able to book like we're supposed to be able to! It should give us a guide for what time/how it will work come Sunday/Monday for all of our booking of the 7 night stuff! :thumbsup2

Jessica and Kris - good luck with your reservations for the 2-night!

Can you believe we still have no idea what to do about excursions for Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas? We aren't booking any excursions through Disney this time as there really aren't any that our 4yo can do that appeal to us much. So I guess at least we don't have to worry about calling in our excursions this weekend and can focus on Palo.

Now that we finally have our choices for dinner, brunch and high tea planned out, we can focus on trying to get our FE gifts together after we call.

Happy booking everyone. Let us know how you did.

Amy went on an all-girls trip away last weekend so I guilted her into letting me do a half marathon on Catalina the day before the cruise. I'll sure be ready for some pampering once onboard!

What is everyone else doing before the cruise? I know two of you are doing the 2-night cruise. Is anyone else going to Disneyland or doing anything fun in the area?

Dave and I are coming in on Friday and staying 2 nights at GCV. Going to Disneyland on Saturday, (Our first time in Disneyland) Did you guys notice that we leave at 4pm from Mazatlan? I thought we were leaving at 7pm. Any one know why the change in time?

HELLO EVERYONE!!!

Hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to ask the DVCers some questions...

Sergio and I would like to spend 2 nights at the Grand Californian. We were thinking December 26th through 28th, since the 28th would be our 8 year wedding anniversary. According to this point calculator (http://www.wdwinfo.com/resort/dvcpoint.cfm), we need 54 points for a studio. Is that correct? Does anyone have 54 points that they can sell us? And if not, where can I buy 54 points?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

THANKS!!!

Hi Love - how have you been?
You can rent points from someone. Go to the DVC board here on DISboards and you should find it pretty easily.

With that said, I don't mean to be a downer, but I don't think there is any way at all that GVC even has availability for those dates! I don't know if you realize, GVC only has 48 total DVC rooms - TOTAL! For the Christmas season, those rooms were gone 11 months prior! I wish you all the luck in the world, but I hope you realize how unlikely it is that there are even rooms available. Call me if you want to chat about it or have any questions!

Thanks for the quick reply Jessica! :goodvibes We just read up on it and yes, you were right...all the rooms are booked. We're going to stay at the Disneyland Hotel instead. :thumbsup2

Thanks for your help and have a great weekend!!!

DCL opened up bookings for our 2-night cruise before the the 7-night cruise. I started checking at 8:59 and it took until about 9:05 for the booking to open up. We didn't want to do dinner at Palo on the that cruise and there were no brunches available so we ended up not booking anything.

Anyhow it looks like we can all start clogging up the DCL site in about 47 hours and 40 minutes.

You're welcome! I'm sorry GVC didn't work out for you. :( BUT - the Disneyland Hotel will be just as awesome!

Have have things been with you guys? When do you want to go to Disneyland?!? We're going Tuesday for our anniversary and we're going to do the Halloween party - I hope its worth it!

Trying to decide which cruise to book while on board for January 2012. Yes I am that compulsive that I plan this way. But I like to take advantage of the booking discounts while on board.

Any take the 7 day Western Caribbean Cruise?

F&A - We've sailed the Eastern and Western once each with Disney. We loved both. Let me know if you have any specific questions about the Western.

We liked having the extra port day and really had a great time in all four ports.

Yanira - I highly recommend renting points through Disboards, as long as you rent from someone reputable with a lot of posts. Also do searches on past rentals to make sure the renters were satisfied.

Our friends are renting AKV for our trip next October and they are going to be able to stay in a studio for about $90/night most nights.

Hey all - I just want to give an update on the Palo/spa/excursion booking for tomorrow night. I posted something last night on the 2 night board about our disappointment that we couldn't even see the palo button until about 9:10 - well, someone replied back. The reason we couldn't see the button is because we logged on before 9:00 and kept refreshing. YOU CANNOT LOG IN BEFORE THE TIME OR YOU WILL HAVE TO LOG OUT AND THEN LOG BACK IN! The only reason we got to see it at 9:10 is because we had logged out and then logged back in to see if anything was different. So - for tomorrow night - make sure you do not log in until 9:00 or 9:01, logging in early will screw you! (pardon my french).

OK - back to homework! :guilty:

thanks for the info. So it is 12:01 AM Eastern time that bookings start?

I read on an earlier post that semi-formal night is 1/23. Is that still good info? We like to go to Palo on the either the semi formal or formal night. Order room service the other. I'm on vacation -- no dressing up (except may be for Palo and Victoria & Albert's that is worth it).

I called DCL to find out info about the Pirate Party and i was told:
1/24 Monday/ Sea day is Formal Night
1/26 Wednesday/Puerto Vallerta is Pirate Night
1/28 Friday/ Cabo San Lucas is Semi-Formal Night

I think it would be crazy to have Formal Night on the day we board, it can take hours to get all of your luggage.
