SHHHHhhhhhhhh can you hear it ? Its our cruise LOL its getting closer !!! WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO Less than 8 weeks away folks !
Ohhhh now Im interested in the stone beach thingey in cabo - DUDE WAL MART So cool !!!! I had no idea LOL
Amber and Rick got their gty on deck 2 I can get the number and give it to you Jessica when I get the chance in the next couple of days .... Time please fly !!! WE WANT TO CRUISE NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW !

And it's a really nice Walmart with a very good selection of PV goods, including cute kid's clothes. The Walmart in Hawaii is very similar with an entire "tourist" section. They have a grocery section, too, if you need to stock up on anything.

I was just looking at the "Characters of Wonder" list and saw that the majority of use have second/late seating. Too bad we won't all have the same dining rotation; we could seize control of the dining room otherwise :)

You know it's bad when your mom gives your son a Mickey shirt and you think, "That would be perfect for Animator's Palate," rather than simply recognizing it as a neat shirt. Can you tell I have cruise brain?

Down at the Oranage County Convention center this week on business. Went to the Disney outlet yesterday and picked up two DCL t-shirts for 10 bucks and even a shirt (ticket $50 for $14.99) for me to wear to Animator's Pallete (lol). Also a polo for Ashley (ticket $30 for $11.99).

If you head down to WDW there are two outlets one at each of the Prime outlets on the north and south ends of I-Drive.

Picking up Ashley at MCO at in two hours and then off to the World.

I was wondering if you guys could drop a message here stating who your favorite character is and include (especially) everyone in your cabin, please? I am starting to put together my FE's and am really having a tough time matching up characters with all of you. I think if I had a favorite to work with, it would be great! So just type your name and your favorite, PLEASE :woohoo: The sooner the better.
Later,
Sue :sail:
BTW, Sue-Tigger :tigger:, Jeff-Mickey Mouse :mickeyjum & Alec-Donald Duck :donald:& sometimes Goofy:goofy:, too. :rotfl:

Hi Sue - how fun!! I think it's neat you are doing something with matching people to characters. My favorite character is not in the lime light much, so it's usually hard to find things realating to him - but it's Elliott from Pete's Dragon. If you need something more "typical" I would say anyone BUT Tinkerbell - HATE tinkerbell!! I like Belle, Ariel, Nala, Lady, Mulan, and other more typical "girl" characters.

As far as Ryan goes - don't quote me because he like too many to know what his favorite is - but he loves donald duck, the 3 caballero's, Mr. Toad, and the Hatbox ghost. Ryan - you should comment on your own and put me in my place! :thumbsup2

At first I thought you were at the DLR as it's in Orange County CA. It took me a minute to figure out you were referring to Orange County FL.

Sound like you found some great deals. We have the same outlet here about three miles from DLR.

Hey Everyone - I'm sorry it's taken so long to post about wristbands. If I'm honest it's been a bit frustrating figuring it out. I've tried my best, and believe me, I have looked at EVERY possibility, but this is what we have:

At the current count we need 37 wristbands (29 adults, 8 kids)
Yes - buying 50 for the price break DOES actually make it cheaper per bracelet (and Ryan and I thought we would just buy the extras and give them on our 2 night cruise as FE's; it would also mean we have some extras in case anyone changes their mind and wants some). UNFORTUNATELY, the price break comes with 50 of the SAME bracelet, meaning 50 adult or 50 kids - since we'd need to split it we end up paying outrageous prices for the 8 kids bracelets.

With that said - Ryan and I can/will still buy the extra adult bracelets to get everyone the cheaper price ($1.90 per adult bracelet instead of $3.20). However, the 8 kids bracelets would just need to be paid for full price by those who need kids bracelets ($5.75 per kids bracelet).

Yes, we are going with the cheaper option(s) - debossed, single color, 1 phrase. What we have chosen is blue/glow bracelets. They will be blue in the day and glow at night! We thought this could be super fun for everyone - just think about it, most of us all have 2nd dining which means we will be in the same shows - the lights go off in the theater and what do you see - the light glow of all the DISers!! :rotfl2:

Because of the high child's prices I need everyone interested to confirm with me (private message is best, that way if you're still interested I will give you the details of payment for the bracelets). Below I will include a list of everyone I have down. If you are not on the list and want to be - let me know! Everyone on the list - I will hear about your changes, etc. in the private message! :thumbsup2

Also, here are a couple of images to give you an idea. The phrase we are going with is DISney Wonder 2011 because it plays on the DISboards theme. The font is "walt-o-graph" a disney style font.

I think that's a great idea! I will change those numbers on my spreadsheet and send you a PM when I do the ordering! :thumbsup2

Jessica, my Pixie-hating friend - I just sent you a PM but I think we'll just go with three adult bracelets. Thanks again for everything you've done for our group!

Sue - Amy's favorite is Minnie Mouse. Emma's favorite changes daily. On 12/4/10 at 12:10pm (Pacific Time), her favorite is Ariel. Her reasoning is because her favorite color is aquamarine and most things she sees with Ariel are that color (4yo priorities, you know).

Her favorite up until a few minutes ago has always been Cinderella but lately loves Rapunzel. She really loves all of the princesses though but I'd say any of those three are a safe bet. If it's something with clipart and you can find one with multiple princesses, she'd love that too. As you can see, it's making us pull our hair out trying to buy Christmas presents!

My favorite character is Figment but he's not very easy to find. I also love Baloo and Sorcerer Mickey.

I've now got most of what I need for all of your FE gifts. Now all I need is a little more creativity and some time away from the Christmas chaos to put everything together!

-steve

I will be on this cruise traveling alone. My first Disney Cruise was on the Westbound Transatlanic in September 2010 with CruzDirectorKaren and ElderFam on the Magic. I'm crossing my fingers that CruzDirectorKaren and husband can make this trip as well.

Thanks denversees4me and tiger1313 for the welcome. Looking forward to meeting you both in person on the cruise.

Better yet we could seize control of the theater on Toy Story the Musical night to save everyone from the horrors that would otherwise be forced upon them.

Sound like you found some great deals. We have the same outlet here about three miles from DLR.

Next time anyone is in Las Vegas they should check out the outlet there. It is about 2 miles (maybe less) south of Mandalay bay on the strip. It is operated by the same company that runs the two outlets in Southern California, but it had much better merchandise. It's been almost 2 years since we have been there so it may have changed, but when we lived in Vegas we stopped by every couple of months and they always had good stuff. We stocked up on trading pins a few times for about $2 a pin, lots of t-shirts for $10 or less, etc.

The outlet near Disneyland off of the 91 is pretty good, but I think the good stuff tends to go very quickly there. The outlet near the 60 & 71 intersection tends to have some interesting stuff, but the prices are all over the board. We went to both locations in the same day a few months ago and the location off of the 91 had some of the items for half the price.
