Disney Wonder Hawaii Sept. 2015

Gotcha! I have never sailed a repeat on any ship I have been on, but I can see how that would be the case for a lot of repeat DCL cruisers. In the future, I will understand the difference between booking and re-booking! ::yes::

It was actually the re-booking onboard part that threw me! I thought you were going to wait until you were onboard the Wonder in Feb. to possibly book the Sept. 2015 Hawaii cruise, and prices could be astronomical by then!

Has anyone found any clues as to when DCL might release the September through winter 2015 cruises? We knew to the day when the summer was about to be released (thanks to our cool detectives out there).. Here's hoping its soon! Come on Hawaii!

Also- is anyone else wondering if a long Hawaii cruise on a non-reimagined Wonder is a great idea? Has anyone experienced the re-imagined magic and also been on the non-reimagined wonder/magic to see if its a transformation worth waiting for? I love cabanas on the newer ships and love the putt putt and water slide. It would be cool to have some of the extras on a long cruise. Thanks!

I have been on The original Magic and The re-imagined Magic and on The Fantasy.
There is nothing that can keep me off The Wonder for this cruise to Hawaii.
She's a beautiful ship, we have sailed her 3 times in the last 2 years. There is nothing to be concerned about. Disney keeps these ships in tip-top shape.

Now, lets keep our fingers crossed that these darn Hawaii itineraries come out soon, so we can start planning!!!

Thanks! We have also sailed on the wonder, dream and fantasy. I think you're right- It would be an awesome cruise on the wonder even without a re-imagining!

Anyone heard any hints as to release dates for the fall/winter 2015 cruises? I guess we'll all have to keep checking these boards daily until it happens!

The Wonder was fine on the DCL Hawaii cruises two years ago. Besides, none of the other DCL ships can fit through the Panama Canal, so only the Wonder can do west coast cruises until the new canal locks are finished.

I'm guessing July.

I would think they are doing it about the same amount out from the last time they opened up the dates. End of March for May-August 2015.

Only Disney knows what they are doing.

Is there still debate about where the cruises are sailing from Vancouver vs So Cal? We would really like to do the 14 day round trip from So Cal.

Does anybody know when they do offer the Hawaii cruise what the stops might be in Hawaii? Which Islands? I cant wait to find out so excited!!!

I'm debating this cruise (if it happens) or a Panama Canal one... choices choices! Depends on the price!

If they are doing one-way, it would make sense to sail out of Vancouver (Jones Act).

If it is round trip, then it is possible they will sail from So Cal again like last time, with a stop in Ensenada - or they just leave from/return to Vancouver and will not need to make an extra stop.

I was on the inaugural Hawaiian cruise and it was spectacular, the only issue I had was that it was too long, as the sea days back to the mainland had very few activities for the adults (compared to the way back). That's why I wish I could go on the one way if the did it, but I already booked the 2015 DCL Northern Europe.

Fingers crossed that Hawaii cruises become a regular thing with DCL.

There is new info on the port calendar! The Honalulu schedule now has Inchcape in port September "16-18" in 2015. Do you think they'll sail from Maui to Honalulu in the evening of the 16th then overnight at the port? Or maybe arrive in port a little before midnight so maybe they needed to list it as in port for part of the 16th? Its still most likely a disembark day/ embark day on the 17th, I guess!

A few pages ago on this thread I posted the following possible scedule (I added in the new info on Honalulu): Inchcape special is the shipping agent and we are fairly certain is code name for Disney wonder on the port calendars! It seems that the wonder will be in Nawiliwili Harbor, Kauai on sept. 14, 2015 and Sept. 21, 2015. It sure looks more and more like DCL is setting up two one-way probably vancouver - hawaii cruises, doesn't it? So far we have:

?Leave maybe vancouver- ?5 days at sea
sunday 9/13 Hilo Harbor
Monday 9/14 Nawiliwili Harbor, Kauai
Tuesday 9/15 Kahului Harbor, Maui 7:45 am overnight
Wednesday 9/16 leaves Maui 6pm
Thursday 9/17 Honalulu Harbor (?Possible arrive evening of 16th. Probably disembark/ embark day)

Thursday 9/17 Honalulu Harbor (Probably disembark/ embark day. Possible overnight in port or leave really late at night for Maui)
Friday 9/18 Maui day of 18th and stay in port overnight
Sat 9/19 leave Maui 6pm
sunday 9/20 Hilo Harbor
Monday 9/21 Nawiliwili harbor, Kauai
then ?5 days at sea to ?Vancouver

The port calendar of hawaii is : http://hidot.hawaii.gov/harbors/pass...ise-schedules/

Anyone else excited?? Let's go! Anyone heard any more rumors?

That sounds exciting! I sooooooo hope they do this. Flights will be better for me! Now to decide 1 way to Hawaii or 1 way back to Canada.... Decisions decisions! I hope they announce soon though the savings have already begun!

Is it possible to have a one way car rental from Seattle to Vancouver? My thinking would be to fly UK to Seattle and have a couple of days driving around as we have never visited Washington state, then drive to Vancouver for the cruise. After the cruise, probably fly to Chicago for a couple of days exploring the area before flying back to the UK. Any thoughts or problems, something I might have overlooked?
