i know everyone will have varying opinions but I just booked the Mexican Rivera on the wonder and am deciding on either deck 7 aft 7602 or midship deck 6 6554 or 6556.... Does anyone have any thoughts? Motion? Noise? I see deck 6 will be right above kids club not sure how the sound is. I like being right at mid ship I have a 8 and 13 year old so quick trip down to deck 2 to go to the edge or right down to kids club for my 8 year old. I also like deck 7 because then I'm not right over life boats... Also quick up to drink stations and deck 9. I'm just off the fantasy and realize it's much bigger so it feels like it takes forever maybe it doesn't matter between aft and mid on the smaller ships.?
Thanks in advance!!

We prefer deck 7 on the Wonder, sandwiched between decks that only have staterooms will reduce noise, and you are very convenient to the secret deck (unless it goes away like it did on the Magic). Also the quick hop up to the drink stations like you said is a great convenience.

Hmmm..... generally I'd go for the midship one(s). But 7502 isn't that far aft. And I'd say that either of the ones on deck 6 are fine. Both of them are over the entrance area to the "private passageway" between the Lab and the Club. I wouldn't think it would be as noisy as actually being over the club space.

So, any of those choices would probably be fine.

We were in 6544 on the Wonder a few weeks ago so just a little forward of that. We LOVED the location. We used the midship stairs pretty much exclusively. Hardly ever took the elevator. It was just so easy to pop up or down a few floors for wherever we were going. It was super quiet - we slept like babies (maybe from the exercise we got using the stairs, haha!). Overall I found the Wonder very easy to navigate so I think you can't go wrong.

What is the secret deck and why might it go away? Thanks
On deck 7 on the Wonder, in the aft, is a small deck area that's accessible via a regular door:

The Magic used to also have this deck. But it was taken away during her re-imagining dry dock. The mechanics for the new water works activities are located there now.

We stayed just down the hall in 6546, was a great location, close to everything and we didn't use the elevator once. Was quiet too.

We like 7, we're in 7620 for the Mexican Riviera in 2017. Looking forward to all the new stuff there will be!

We've also had 7120 and somewhere else on 7 for our first cruise, though I can't remember exactly where.

Thanks. We are going on our first cruise in February. We will be on Deck 7 so i wondered. We will be in 7619 very close to elevators. Do not see a stateroom report for this room. Hopefully the traffic will not be too loud.
