Disney Wonder crossing the Panama Canal, Aug 26, 2016

Spur of the moment decision to go on this cruise! Just booked! Have been on other Disney cruises (including Panama Canal in 2012 or 2013) but have never booked one so close to departure time It will be just my husband and myself on this trip; we usually travel with my brother & sis-in-law but they are unable to join us.

Awesome to be able to do this spur of the moment!

Only issue we had booking late (and it is not a problem at all) was gettin port arrival time of 12:00. Is it possible to arrive earlier without an issue?

With your PAT you are assigned a boarding group/number. Now, we have sailed out of Port Canaveral and Barcelona and while you can arrive early, you will only be able to board once your group is announced which usually is around the time of your PAT. I guess it will be no different in San Diego.

We'll see you onboard on the port days We might get off at PV and Cabo for an hour or two for shopping, but no excursions booked except Cartagena.

I tried for the GC too, but we would have needed 5 days and it was just not happening. I am too chicken to waitlist, so we are booked at the Best Western Anaheim Inn across the road. The rate and reviews were good. Are you going to be at DL before the cruise?

Sadly not enough time for DL this trip.

Orange County, the airport closest to DL. It was the cheapest for us.

That is where we wanted to stay when I started planning. The rates to stay at the QM are not what I would consider cheap, but it looked interesting.

I looked at the prices, not cheap... I'm going to leave things until the very last minute to see if the waitlist comes through. There has been a 1BR available for a while but I can't seem to spend that many points on one night.

What did you have booked for Cozumel? I remember you saying you might drop it. I really like Cozumel, I'm thinking we might just do a half day at the beach, but nothing official. If we don't want to last minute then it won't affect anything.

After doing the tequila tour in Puerto Vallarta two different times about 4 years apart, I must admit Jose Cuervo has no appeal for me. The tequila in Puerto Vallarta was just so absolutely smooth, that I'll have to go back on a Mexican Riviera cruise to replenish my stock! I just can't see trying to package tequila on a plane from Orlando. I know people do it, but I'll just have to drag Chris on a last minute December cruise again instead.

Looks like August 31st is no longer available for Character M&G sign ups. Our VIP Breakfast is still there but my Princess meet got moved to August 30th at the same time as it was booked for the 31st.

AT&T just added free Mexico text, calls, and data (so the plan works just like in the USA) to our plan. We just had to go in and activate it. Couldn't hurt to check your phone plans to see if it's available for you!

I would call either DCL or your embassy for this, you want to make sure you have everything you need.

Yes, sure, I can. I actually have already added them. We still need your and their stateroom number. Let me know as soon as you find out. (You can check on the DCL site!) The link to the FE list is in the first post of this thread.

Passport will do. I read up for us and you need a passport, that's it.

All FE information can be found in the first post. The "original" one will stay open until July 15 (= last day). I might keep a latecomer list if there is the need for it.
