Disney Wonder Alaska past cruisers...I NEED YOUR Input!

I've done this cruise twice in the past three years. We went at the end of August. Weather was cool and a bit rainy on one day. Must do's imo would be..
- a verandah! Can enjoy all the scenery daily without competing for upper deck space
- villa spa on sea day or Tracy Arm day
- bring a thermal coffee mug..great for hot chocolate or coffee on cool mornings and Tracy Arm
- binoculars...there's tons of wildlife!!
- a warm jacket/hoodie and scarf especially for Tracy Arm
- enjoy the view!!!
One of my favourite cruises! By not spending time at the pool we were able to do more activities on the ship

We couldn't afford the verandah but got a oceanview...we are planning to do the Rainforest Pass again (we did in the Fantasy last year and it was awesome) thanks for all the other tips...

I've posted a question regarding this question and haven't received any input,
so, I will ask here and hopefully I'll get answers. If I book an excursion for my husband
and myself and I don't want to do it, am I able to give the excursion to someone else?
Our friends that we are traveling with can't book the excursion until 15 days after we
can and the husbands really want to be on this excursion together.. safety in numbers??
Who knows the real reason but, they do want to do the Knudson Cove Salmon Fishing.
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated...

Do you have a TA? You may ask your TA to inquire on your behalf or call DCL directly. No one has responded to your thread probably because no one has tried it. I think you can only book for the people who are on the same reservation. I am not sure what you mean by giving the excursion to someone else. Do you mean someone else pretend to be you to go on the excursion instead? I would suggest not doing this for safety reasons (since Disney needs to account for those who stay and those who leave the ship). You can cancel the excursion and hopefully your friends can pick it up upon your cancellation. I would suggest calling DCL for advice.

Have you done an internet search to see if you could book this same excursion independently? Might be able to get a reservation made for all of you at this time by going straight with the excursion company instead of Disney. We saved a lot of money doing this!

We also bought our air tickets and lodging. We are Flying Alaska Airlines an arriving to SEA on Fri...Driving to Vancouver on Sat. Enjoying the city a little bit and boarding the CRUISE!!! We ended up booking the YWCA with a private bathroom so I'll make sure to write a review later...

We also booked our tours: 2 through independent but highly recommended from here and one with DCL...getting excited!

Try to make the border before 3pm. It can take a few hours between 5pm and 10pm depending on which weekend you are arriving.

Thanks! Yes, we are planning on that! Although, we will be crossing the border on Sat so we are in no immediate rush! Maybe we can go later! Thanks for the link too!
