Disney Wonder - Alaska - August 17, 2015

Have plagiarized heavily from the offered help and have opened an FE thread. Link is part of my signature (I hope). Also should have an easier time of downloading the spreadsheet.

I've seen several FE groups, group into ten cabins and you can join multiple groups if you choose. This allows people to participate at whatever size they can. Thoughts?

Good Evening

We made our final payment yesterday and are sooooo excited to finally get to cruise Alaska. We would love to be part of an FE group. Our details are as follows:

Stateroom Number: 8038
Myself - Amber
DH - Hussain
DS - Sami (14)
DS - Safa (12)
DD - Maya (10)

Please do let us know if you can still add us into one of the groups.

This is our first cruise to Alaska (have been to the Bahamas and Caribbean). We would love any and all tips regarding this cruise including dining rotations and excursions.

Well, we got checked in, booked our Palo and port adventures. Decided to go with a whale watching/glacier photo in Juneau and the Character dinner/gold panning in Skagway.

BTW, Amy and I like to look for table mates for dinner. Makes thing more fun if you know a little about each other before you get squeezed into a table every night.

Tomorrow is double digits!!!!!!

Congrats... I always love when you can finally book excursions it makes it seem that much closer. We don't get to book until the 19th. Colin and I are wanting to do the Character/gold panning in Skagway too.

Jim, thank you for putting all of this together! I just printed out our FE group list and am excited to get started on them.

Welcome! We have a meet planned at 3pm in the Promenade Lounge. And there's a link in this thread if you're interested in joining the 2nd FE group (1st group is closed). Can't wait to set sail!

We got to book excursions this morning!!! YAY!!!! Okay, so this is what we're booked for:

Liarsville gold panning w/characters
Dog sled and puppy visit (Juneau)
Lumberjack show

Palo on the third night for dinner.

YAY!!!! Now I can start to get excited (plus school gets out next week so it will actually feel like this is coming up)

Finishing up things makes it feel so much closer.

We got our hotels and rental car arranged this past weekend though we are still discussing our FE gifts.

Jim

Things are rocking as we get closer. Like I had posted we have our adventures, transportation and lodging. We are coming in the morning before into Seattle and staying the night in Vancouver so we have a chance to see at least one thing. On the way back we are spending the night in Seattle. Definitely going to drag Amy to Trader Vic's, love mai tai!

So what are some people hoping for? Movies, shows, signature items, door magnets, ect.

Jim

Reminders that the plan is to close the 2nd FE when we hit either around 50 or 30 days before we sail. Also for TBD cabins or cabin changes I will have a dry erase board on my cabin to make updates to. Everyone, not just FE participants, are invited to the PROMENADE LOUNGE AT 3PM on Embarkation Day to put faces to our group.

For Amy and I, are looking for table mates for the cruise.

Hi Jim!

Thanks so much again for organizing. Our room was assigned. 2026 and Paul (hubby) will not be coming. (Argg we just lost 20% backing him off the trip. What a mess) anyway it's just the 3 girls
Me (Cris)
Sara (Daughter -7)
Bea (grandma)
If you could update the list that would be great!
Thanks so much!!!

Added, updated and uploaded.

Current count - 2 FEs. 1 open, 1 closed, 46 people & 14 cabins on the closed one, 34 people & 9 cabins on the open one.

Everyone agree to close the 2nd FE a week from Friday on July 17th? That is the traditional cutoff of one month before sailing.
