Hey Teen Board!!!

I, as probably many of others, have gone through Disney withdrawals in their live.. Well, that's me right now..

It's really hard for me to look at pictures videos from both times I have gone to Disney World Florida (July 2008 and June 2011).. I start to tear up when I see me with characters, or watching videos of the "Wishes" fireworks show..

And, it's impossible for me to stop watching other people's videos on Youtube about their time because it brings back memories of my trips..

Honestly, I think it might be God talking to me..
My relationship has soared with Him over the summer with hanging with my youth group and going to camps..

I think He is trying to let me know what I should pursue after I leave high school.. My life goal is: Not only to make myself happy, but others.. And, I believe with all of my heart that He wants me to bring that to Disney..

If you have any advice, please comment below.. What you all have to say means the world.. :)

Don't worry I feel exactly the same way.. Like I cannot look or even talk about our Dream cruise from July without getting sad, but then I remember the Disney College Program and see that there is a chance for me to get my foot in the door with Disney, so there's something that you might want to look at pursuing

He works in mysterious ways sometimes, maybe it is a sign He is giving you (:

I think you should check out the Disney college program, maybe that's something you might be interested in.

I feel both disney and summer withdrawal (because I got ninth grade on monday). It's terrible.

Maybe it is a sign, maybe it isn't. But if you love disney and want to work there or on future disney movies, do look into the disney college program.

Thanks for the input so far!!! :)

I have been looking into the Disney College Program... I live in Texas, so it's a long ways from here..

Heading into senior year of high school on Monday, I really have to start making decisions about college, where to live, etc..

There's one college in Miami that has hospitality and tourism (which is what I want to do, well, and being a part of a worship/praise band at church).. I have been debating about it for a while, but I don't think I could get myself to Florida by the end of next summer.. Maybe the spring of 2013?? I don't know..

I've also been looking at the college program. I'm a year behind you so I have another couple of years to figure out what I want to go into. I want to go to college in Massachusetts (I live in New England so I have a longer distance to go than you) honestly I've always wanted to work at Disney so I at least feel that the college program will get my foot in the door

Good luck to you

Why not college in California or Florida then?

Florida's living expense i know is Extremely high, but California isn't too bad (minus the gang life in certain citys)

I'm not sure if I want to be that far from my family (although I will if I'm in the college program) the furthest I've looked for college is South Carolina, plus I get a huge discount for Massachusetts because I live in New England

so you see my dilemma...

Woo!!:) SC!! Whatwhat!:)) I plan on applying to College of Charleston and USC-Beaufort, if you've looked at those. Yeah it's a lot cheaper to apply to a school that's instate rather than out

I've looked at USC Columbia so far (I got a massive envolope from them in the mail a few days ago) although I'm not sure where I want to go. It would help if a college in Rhode Island offered my major (management specifically sports management but I may take just regular management) but alas no :sad2:

I plan on staying in SC and there are only 3 public colleges that have my major and I looked at USC-Cola, but it's too big for me so I am left with the other two which I absolutely love. Well, USC-Cola(if you choose to go there) is one of the best schools in the country for Business, so if you're still looking to go to college down here that's the one I would look at and I'm pretty sure that they have connections with the College Program. I know College of Charleston does for sure which is why I'm kind of leaning toward that one. I hope you find a college that suits you and has you're major! **Btw I love you're avatar. Awesome band:thumbsup2
