My wife and I have been going to Disney almost every year for the last 10 years. We just had twins this past August and are thinking of doing a Disney trip for a week sometime next year (most likely September or early December).

My biggest concern is where to stay. I made a bounce back reservation for PO-FQ just to get the rate but knowing we're likely to alter it. (I was a bit concerned that cribs / pack-n-plays would be requested but not guaranteed - what would you do if it wasn't available?!?!)

First question is what are our realistic choices for a room that would fit two children still in cribs? The moderates seem like it would be a bit tight to fit two cribs. Not sure if the deluxes are that much more roomy. I'm also thinking about renting DVC points and trying one of those resorts (especially since I'm sure our typical commando schedule will be turned into one with lots of naps during the day).

So what advice can anyone give about accomodations (and making sure we have adequate places for the twins to sleep)?

First congratulations on the twins! I have 5 kids 14,12,12,9 and 7. I have to say the twins are the easiest out of them all (of course the first 2 years were the hardest of my life!). Twins have such a different bond (love/hate) it's like watching a science experiment sometimes.

I would look into renting points to stay in a 1 bedroom DVC somewhere. We really needed the extra room for the kids to sleep so we didn't have to hide in the bathroom until were asleep (done that, it stinks!).

Another option is a Ft. Wilderness cabin. You should be able to fit the pack and plays in the living room and either hang out in the bedroom. Plus there is a lot of "exploring" that little ones can do at Ft. Wilderness.

Good luck!

Can the kids share a pack n play?

In the mods, you can place one pack n play next to the sink under the "closet". That's where we put ours and it kept the walkway open.

The other could most likely go where the table is.

If those options don't sound viable, I'd say look into the cabins. Those should give you lots of space.

As for your question on whether or not a pack n play would be available, if you go during the offseason, you should have no trouble at all. We went during spring break and didn't have any trouble. CSR forgot to bring us one (we checked in at 9 a.m.) and we called at 9p.m. and they still had some. We took an old crib sheet for the base and left it behind when we left.

We have stayed twice with two in cribs, and we stayed in suites at Deluxes both times. We rented ours from A Baby's Best Friend because I wanted a guarantee that I would get two full-sized cribs. :thumbsup2
