First time taking the kids to Magic Kingdom. Are there many rides that are suitable for a 2yr old and 1year old? What other parks would be good for this age group?

We've taken both of our children since they were 6 months old. They can pretty much ride anything without a height restriction. Pretty much everything in Fantasyland. The main rides I can think of they can't ride are Space Mountain, BTMRR, Goofy's barnstormer- my 2 year old wasn't tall enough, and maybe one or two more. Same for the other parks. They can ride anything without a height restriction. MGM- they can do all the shows, they'll love the playhouse disney show. They can also do the backlot tour and the great movie ride. All the parks have a lot they can do- have a great time!

I'd recommend AK. Hours are generally shorter and if your kids are like mine they will love Kilimanjaro Safaris. The big production shows are good for the little ones too.

I took my daughter right before she turned 2, and we spent a day at MK and an evening at MGM. She had the time of her life! Since it was my first time there as well, I didn't have too many expectations, and just walking around was wonderful for us!

she slept on most of the rides, so we went on the Fantasyland ones 3X each (on different days), so she could experience. She didn't have an overwhelming reaction to many, but loved Small World and character meals, and the parades.
