I am going to WDW in June, and meeting several family members there for vacation. 3 of the members in my group will be close to 80 years old, and we will also have my 2 DD's, ages 3 & 6. All others range from 13 to 56 years old. Any tips for doing Disney with such a diverse age range?

We went last year with 3 kids aged 6,5 & 2.5 and also my parents who were 60 and 69. My parents love Disney but weren't keen on the idea of getting up and out early and once at the parks they wanted to take lots of breaks. Although we had a fantastic holiday I felt a lot of my planning was wasted. I'd say split up into various groups and arrange meets throughout the day.
On our first day in MK we also met up with other family members aged 31,28,13 & 12 - we split up lots as they wanted to do rides not suitable for my 3 kids, but we had regular meet ups and did some rides together, we also watched some shows and parades together. :cool1:

WHEELCHAIRS! We often take my DH's aunt who will be 89 and is legally blind. It took a while to convince her to use a wheelchair (3 trips and commando touring plans) but she finally relented. The first day she used it was when we went to AK for the day. The sidewalks there are a little uneven and she has no depth perception, so she was happy she had one. My SIL has MS so while the rest of us were on the rougher rides, the two of them would find a shady spot and enjoy a cool drink or a snack while waiting for us. Please don't misunderstand, I don't think all elderly people need to be in wheelchairs. But in our case it was a matter of her safety. It also helped her to stay her energetic self for the entire day.

Make PS's ahead of time for the entire family to have lunch or dinner together each day. If you all stay at the same resort, you could meet for breakfast and/or meet in the afternoon around the hotel pool. Definitely split up most of the time for the parks.
