Disney with little legs that can’t go the distance!

His low stamina is due to earlier developmental delays. His younger brother has all the stamina in the world and I have no doubt will be able to get through a long day at Disney just fine. I think we may look into the option of renting a Disney stroller towards the end of the day if we happen to need it.

just remember a Disney stroller will not help you getting to transportation at end of day as they can not go past the gate and that can be a long walk

Rent a double stroller and totally ignore the “how DARE you allow a child that age to ride in a stroller, you are a terrible parent, my children walked all day carrying their own backpacks starting at age 4” brigade.

Back in the day .... ( 2019) all the strollers were rented, no lockers could be found. It is not like that anymore.

What I don’t know is, do they allow you to return the stroller and rent another one if we come back after a break? Do they make you pay again or do we pay once and it’s good all day?

have not done since covid but before keep your slip and you could get another on return even if a different park

You can keep your receipt. You’ll be paid for the day so even if you take a break or park hop you don’t need to pay again.

Something else to think about, are you a family that brings drinks, snacks, jackets, etc into the park with you? A single stroller can carry all that and once in a while carry a kid. I'd rather push a single stroller vs having 20 pounds on my back.

I'm talking about a simple stroller. Some are so big, getting onto buses are a pain.

Something else to think about, are you a family that brings drinks, snacks, jackets, etc into the park with you? A single stroller can carry all that and once in a while carry a kid. I'd rather push a single stroller vs having 20 pounds on my back.

I'm talking about a simple stroller. Some are so big, getting onto buses are a pain.

This is what I’m thinking too. Might be nice to get one simple but durable umbrella stroller (have Amazon ship to resort, bring one on plane, or pick up at a store on your way in, etc). Then the kids can take turns having a break, plus it can help carry drinks and whatever else you bring into the parks.

Good point! We usually travel light in the parks, but with our family at nine on this trip, having a place to put our stuff might be nice!

Yeah, I don’t think we do an umbrella stroller. My boys will be 7/8 when we go. I like the idea of renting a hard plastic Disney stroller in the parks if we feel we need it., Plus they look more like carts than they do strollers… Ha ha!

Our last Disney trip, we rented a stroller because we had two 3 year olds with us. I think the 8 year old we had with us spent more time in the stroller than they did. By the end of a long day at the parks, I'm ready for someone to push me around! We are going in October with a 5 and 8 year old and I fully expect for us to rent a stroller for both of them. This is your vacation, do what works best for you and your family!

Our last trip a few years ago our girls were 8 and 6 and we still rented a double stroller from Kingdom Strollers. They weren’t in it all the time but it was there when they needed it and it was somewhere to stash all our stuff.

Your little one might surprise you. Resting little legs on rides and while getting a bite to eat may be all he needs. As stated above you know your children the best and if a stroller is needed to make a successful trip I'd rent one.
