Disney with DD and DDBF are you Crazy Nuts: Leaving and Final Thoughts

I love, love, love your trip reports - I've read everyone of them and actually get excited when I see a new one started!

We are heading to Disney in August with 2 other families with a total of 3 - 15 year olds, a 12 year old and a 10 year old - - wish me luck with getting them up and out in the morning.

Ham Ham's wife - Kim

Thanks for the latest updates:thumbsup2. I really admire the way you are dealing with the girls and their 'primping' - you have the patience of a saint
Its also good to hear that so much fun can be had without hitting the parks every day because that's our plan this time too - slow down and enjoy the resorts too:cloud9:
Your fantastic pictures are making me really homesick - can't wait to get back to WDW soon - only 3 more sleeps:cool1: but I really hope the poor bus service to BCV improves when we are there as its our first time doing Disney without a car and I am beginning to feel that maybe I should get one after all.

Can't wait to see what the parks are like now and find out if you get that extra day - how nice would that be to just add on days on a whim?

Day 4 Friday, June 12 AKA Finally the Parks

Today I woke up again at 6:00 and believe it or not the kids got up pretty much with me. Today was an ambitious program. First hit the Studios at the early entry rope drop, then EPCOT in the afternoon and finally the MK at night. Again taking advantage of the refillable mug, I refilled. I also checked at the front desk about extending our stay with no luck. They suggested a call to member services when they open.

The Marketplace
IMG_5612.jpg

After the primping (I am trying to get used to it), we went to the dock as a boat was pulling in. Sure, why not take it.

Home (but am loving our stay at BCV)
IMG_5620.jpg

Entered the Studios a little late and ended up not very close to the rope. The goal was of course to get fast passes to Toy Story. Again an area where pictures were lost or misplaced. I have too many memory cards floating around.

The shotgun start of the park day begins and I weave my way through the rushing crowds. The girls were to meet me by the fast pass exit. I did pretty well for an old man working my way through the hordes. Even without running. There was this lady in a walker that I had to take out though. OK, I am kidding. The last time we were at the Studios, I was at the rope but way on the left. They detoured us by Ariel, so while I was further back at the start this time, it probably took just as long. Stay by the Brown Derby rope if you are going to Midway Mania.

By the time I get the fast passes the kids are there waiting so we haul buttocks to ToT.

IMG_5212.jpg

A 30 minute wait was posted and it was not quite that.

This is the 2 of them by the sign.

And last year’s picture.

IMG_5215.jpg

While we were in line, I pulled on all the power switch lever things. I heard that one of them makes a noise or something. No such luck. If anyone knows about this I would appreciate you letting me know. When we got to the front of the line, what became a routine to our park touring started. The CM was asking, “How many? Row 3. How many? Row 4…when it came to us, I answered three. “Wait here.” “Are there any two’s in line?” I looked at BF (still no nickname) and said, “See, since I brought you we now have to wait.” Trust me, it was all good natured.

The ride was a good one. Many big drops. From there we looked at the line for Rock and Roller Coaster. It seemed ridiculously long so we headed to the back of the park. I am thinking Oh, oh, it is going to be bad. Passing the tip board, I checked and they listed the R&R wait at only 30 minutes so we went back. My bad. More standing in line but it went relatively quickly. We get to the front and the CM is waving people in till he gets to us. “How many? “Three.” “Wait here.”

We stand at the head of the line as the ride goes through the cycle. Let in, we angled our way near the doors. When they opened, there was a jerk there that practically knocked people over to get ahead. Come on, we are all getting on the same car. I resisted the urge to do something that would get me permanently banned from Disney.

This is where I found out I am old. Normally, I could ride this over and over again but I was done after the one ride. They could have told me I could stay in the car, and ride again with no wait and I would have declined. Well, not to look like a chicken in front of my daughter I would have gone but would not have liked it.

From R&R the girls decided they were hungry. We went to what was formerly Ellen’s bookstore but the line was long. This place takes forever so we moved on. Big mistake but we went to Starring Rolls near the Brown Derby. I wasn’t hungry so I left them on their own. It took forever. The place was packed and there were not many offerings.

This is what you had to choose from. Pretty sparse and when I informed one of the check out people, her response was, they are doing the best they can. What? June, crowds, don’t you think people will want to eat? Couldn’t you anticipate that?
IMG_5218.jpg

They ended up with a plain bagel with cream cheese and a chocolate croissant with a large juice for $7.96. Again, it took forever for them to eat and I lost it a bit. “Let’s move. Grab and go, take it with you. Did I not teach you anything child?”

It was time for Toy Story so we handed our fast passes over. We get to the front of the privileged line and you may have guessed the CM says wait here. The three of us looked at each other and could not help but laugh. Great hordes from the stand by line were then let in until it was finally our turn.

Got a pic of the stand by line. One of these days, I will have to spend two hours of my life there so I can take pictures. I did get a glimpse of Mr. Potato Head.

Lets Ride
IMG_5224.jpg

They went together and I went by myself. Love this attraction. DDBF claimed to have gotten 90,400 and DD did well over 100,000. So they say. I got 90,000. They had fun with that. Hate this attraction.

From there we headed to the back of the park. It was a Star Wars weekend so it was pretty crowded. There was a huge line for something, maybe the ride and Chewy was entertaining the crowd. Before I could take out the camera, he was gone. They did have this area set up for a meet and greet. Jedi Mickey.
IMG_5216.jpg

We headed into Muppets for the AC and a good show. Did not disappoint. From there, I was done. It was a billion degrees out there and the crowds were coming in.
The wait board
IMG_5225.jpg

On the way out, we caught some of the Streetmosphere. Talented people and one of the best things about the Studio.
IMG_5226.jpg

IMG_5227.jpg

He threatened to have the kids arrested. Who am I to argue with the law?
IMG_5228.jpg

I heard they had these guys mocking the waiting crowds at the park opening but they were nowhere to be seen when we got there. Maybe because it was early entry. I stayed for a while and listened to them taunt incoming guests. Nice Star Wars touch.
IMG_5229.jpg

The boat was a little bit away from pulling in and we decided to take it. Man it was hot and it took a lot out of me. If they wanted to ride, no way was I going to argue. While waiting for the boat to dock, I decided to call member services. I was connected with Sunny. I explained we are at the resort and wanted to extend our stay. It was tough to hear while we were on the boat and she asked for my number in case we got cut off. “Can I put you on hold?” After listening to many Disney songs while on hold, she came back with good news. We are in. I don’t know if she ran around asking people if they had a cancelation but whatever she did worked. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Let the kids know and they were pretty happy.

The plan was to stop at the lobby to confirm the reservation and link it to our room so we would not have to switch. Then it was to take on EPCOT. When we were on the walkway to the lobby, we passed the entrance to Storm Along. My innocent comment was, “That water looks inviting.” One of them responded, “Do we have to go to EPCOT? Can we go in the pool?” Since we are on vacation, we can do whatever we want.

Checked with the front desk and found out that the reservation was linked already. Way to go Sunny.

The Lobby. If you were there that day and saw someone jumping around making a fool of himself, it was just me doing the happy dance.
IMG_5571.jpg

IMG_5568.jpg

We ditched the plans for EPCOT and headed to the pool. Luckily, my favorite chair and table were unreserved so I camped out there. They went in. So did I but soon got out. The rest of the day was spent in and out of the pool. Much time was spent on the slide.

IMG_5236-1.jpg

Going with the hey we are on vacation theme, their lunch consisted of a sundae shared between them. Mine another cheeseburger. Theirs $6.38, mine $9.28 less discount plus tip. I found another picture of B&C.
IMG_5230.jpg

From there it was back to the room. Dinner was leftovers and they were good. DD & DDBF wanted to hit the Magic Kingdom, I wanted to crash. We agreed they would go but keep in touch by phone. They got back about 1:00 and DD and I talked about their night out on our less than landscaped patio. A good time was had. No pics because they did not take the camera. Kids. They were able to do most of the rides EXCEPT Dumbo. Seems they got there just as the park closed. There were a couple of open elephants but the CM would not let them on saying they were closed. She probably could have but I understand they we are closed, it’s the last ride, I need to go home philosophy. DD thought it highly unfair and mean spirited.

All in all a good day. I did what I wanted to do at DHS (or MGM if you are old school like DD). Where we could have rushed to EPCOT the pool was a needed break. We had fun in the mini water park and they still got to do the MK. It did bother me a bit when she said I should have joined them at the MK but it was good to let them explore on their own.

Up next: The water parks. AKA Yea right, sleep in and go to plan B.

Just finished stripping and re-staining/varnishing the bath in our turn-of-the-century house (1900 not 2000). I love the woodwork in our old house but restoring it is an extremely messy job. Stripping and varnishing is one of my least favorite jobs in restoring old houses. To reward myself for a job well done I came downstairs to take a Disney break and found the continuation of your TR. Thanks much for taking the time to share with us. As usual the girls are beautiful. I especially like the photo of them together in pool.

Woke up late today, around 7:00. Don’t you love being on vacation? It was decided that since they got in late last night, we would sleep in and forget the plans to go to Typhoon Lagoon. While I could not sleep, I let the girls get their beauty rest.

Ok, now what? Since this trip is centered on water, why not do something I never did before? Pool hop. Take advantage of that DVC perk. They eventually got up and we talked about the day. Water mice (or whatever they call them now) came up. Sure. Lets head over to the Contemporary and go out on the lagoon.

Bused over to the MK and took the monorail to the hotel with a hole in it. Landed at the Contemporary and went out to the Marina. Before we did I could not help but take a few pics from the platform.

IMG_5252.jpg

I love this topiary.
IMG_5247.jpg

At the marina we found out all the sprites are out but they would give us a pontoon boat at the same price. The kids nixed that idea. Probably a 45 minute wait. Instead, we head for the pool.

Nice pool
IMG_5251.jpg

The kids enjoying themselves. Have to love DVC.
IMG_5248.jpg

They got their feet wet and we headed out instead of waiting. We decided to go to the Poly to see if they had anything available. A quick monorail trip and we were at their marina. No problem, plenty of boats available. We decide on two boats, one for me (to take pictures) and one for the girls. Since DD has driven before, she turns over the reins to BF.

Maybe not a good idea

They had fun tooling around and I had fun taking pictures

IMG_5268.jpg

Then again, the GF is not bad either. Sorry everything is blurry but try taking pictures from a moving boat and keeping your eye on the kid and her friend as they speed around.
IMG_5295-1.jpg

The now gone River Country. DD’s first real water slide. We camped at Ft. Wilderness many years ago and had a ton of fun. Tooling around on the golf cart, smores at the sing along and watching the Electrical Water Pageant by the shore. It rained the last night and for the first couple of days at the Boardwalk our tent was spread out to dry in the living room of our 1BR.

Time to park it
IMG_5297-1.jpg

We were out about 50 minutes but with the briefing and time to get the boats out they measured it at 30 Minutes. Total cost with the 10% DVC discount plus tax was $61.35. Almost out of picture space so will post the second half of the day later.

What a great trip so far - so relaxing and laid back, couldn't do that without DVC! I can't believe you were able to extend your time at BCV at the last minute in summer - what pixie dust!

Thanks for the kind words. All I can say to your trip is WOW. I started looking online for a cattle prod to use on our next trip. If I find where to get one, I will let you know.

There would be some argument over my “patience of a saint.” We had only a couple of times when the buses were annoying, so I think you will be fine. Hope you are having a great trip.

My house is old for South Florida and almost every week something breaks or needs fixing up so I am with you on that. Thanks for reading and the comment on the girls. More pool pictures coming.

It was relaxing and you are right about the DVC comment. I have found since we purchased (’96) our touring habits have changed. A line is too long or the parks are crowded, it’s see ya next time. This is especially true since we did not renew our annual passes this year. We do the parks but we spend more and more of our time outside of them. Over New Year’s our theme was food and trying a lot of the restaurants. This one seemed to be centered on playing in the water. I know the girls had fun with the boats and enjoyed the pools.

The extended day was unbelievably lucky and I need to thank Sunny for that pixie dust. Whatever magic she used to make it happen worked.

:lmao::rotfl::lmao:

You are one amusing man.

Amusing maybe. Skewed sense of humor? Definitely. What is the line from the Buffet song? If we were not crazy we would all go insane. (Forgive me if it is misquoted) I enjoy seeing the funny things that everyday life brings us.

Once we docked the boats, we headed to the pool. OK, now you must be thinking why go to another pool when we had Storm Along Bay right out our door? Well, because we can. The pool was very crowded but I was still able to score a shaded table.

I was getting hungry so took a trip over to Captain Cooks. My choice was the aloha pork sandwich and a large drink. $11.99 with tax. My review? Eh. They had a fruit salsa thing as a condiment and it didn’t work. They use the same thing with the crab cakes and it really went well with that. Guess I am a purist when it comes to bar-be-que. The Poly chips are made on site and were really good. Wish other sandwich places would make their own chips.

Lunch
IMG_5298-1.jpg

The cucumbers and salad stuff they put with it was also off putting to me. Appetizing picture huh.
IMG_5313.jpg

Tried the pool for a quick dip a few times but it was too crowded to really enjoy. The kids had fun especially with the slide. While they were playing around in the pool, I walked around the beach. Really nice beach area. Never ventured here before. I tried a hammock but had to quickly get out. I was laying there looking up at the palm fronds and could have easily fallen into a deep sleep. It was interesting that with the pool so crowded, the beach area was relatively quiet. Great place to take a nap. Beats sleeping on a chair outside the Boardwalk lobby like I did last year. Have to keep this in mind.

Maybe a new goal would be to get pictures of DD (with or without BF) at every resort pool. Already have a number of them logged.

The kids got out of the pool to dry off so we could go back to the Y&B. It was a quick walk to the dock to get the boat to the MK.
IMG_5310.jpg

Even as much as I like riding the monorail the boat trip is just as fantastic. Very scenic. Plus when you are in slightly damp clothes over your bathing suits it is a great way to get somewhere without feeling overly self conscious.

I didn’t take many pictures of the beach area on the beach (Does that make sense?) but this is one off shore. Note to self, try out a nap on the hammocks.

The Captain did a better job parking than DDBF did with her boat
IMG_5333.jpg

From there it was a bus ride back to Y&B where we just relaxed the rest of the day. A little TV, gabbing and snacking. When I opened the shades I noticed something was different. Hey, what happened to the sparsely landscaped area with no wood chips on the ground? While we were splashing in the pool somebody came by and planted a bunch of bushes. And put down wood chips. Disney is great at finding out guests’ reactions. The landscaping was a beef of mine about the room and somehow they sensed it and fixed it. ESP by guest relations maybe? One thing about it though is the wood chips smelled like a horse barn. Really strange.

IMG_5514.jpg

Overall, today was interesting. Never pool hopped before and it was a painless process. Yes, our plans changed yet again but it did not really matter. It seems like we are going with the flow and trying some things other than the parks. It is not a bad way to vacation.

Up next however, we are in for a heavy park day. Or are we?

Today the parks! The kids must have been excited because they were up and at am early. Either that or the bucket of ice water I threw on them. No, I am kidding of course. I think it was the heart to heart we had the night before. “I have the tickets and when I am ready to leave I am leaving. If you want to see the parks you will be out the door when I am ready.” Being the benevolent dictator I am, I gave them a little extra time while I refilled my mug a second time for my caffeine fix.

We took the back route behind the resort and it was a quick trip to the International Gateway to wait for them to open. You cannot beat Y&B for the quickest route to EPCOT. Although Boardwalk has better access to DHS. Have to stick up for my home resort.

Getting ready to open
IMG_5490-1.jpg

Not many people in line
IMG_5489-1.jpg

Here is where I made a big boo-boo. Just before they were to open up and I pull the ticket holder out of my pocket. Remember DD and I had 1 day left on a 4 day park hopper. Well, I took those tickets out since we used the last day but did not put in the new tickets. Doh! NOBODY PANIC. So, inform the girls that I have to go back to room to get the other tickets. The looks on their faces were very understanding. OK, not so understanding.

Start to hustle back to the room and a light bulb goes off as I pass the guest services booth. Maybe I can get them replaced. I explain what happened and the CM asks to see ID. I open my wallet and you guessed it, the tickets were there. Never mind. She probably had a good chuckle with all her CM friends when she was on her lunch break.

So anyway, we went through the turnstiles and it was the race to Future World. See all those people ahead of us? They were behind us in the previous picture.

Ooh, the golf ball
IMG_5492-1.jpg

A monorail bonus
IMG_5493-1.jpg

A discussion was held as we were walking. DDBF had not seen Soarin and she wanted to go. If you read my last report, you will know that I think Soarin is Borin but it was decided that they would haul to get fast passes for the ride and meet me at Test Track. It took some time and a couple of phone call updates but it really didn’t matter because the lines were negligible for TT. The goal was reached and she comes back with Fast Passes for Borin.

Well two of them. Seems there was a glitch with the machine and it read one pass but did not spit out a ticket. When she put it in again, it gave her a ticket that said, “You have an active fast pass and I am not going to give you another ticket. Do not try this again or I will eat your card and you will never be let into the parks again. Besides, your dad thinks Soarin is Borin. Have a magical day.” The Soarin gods were exacting their revenge.

My response was, “Why didn’t you go to a cast member?” DD, “There was no one around. They let us in and ran away.” My thought bubble said, “That kid could screw up a one car funeral.” Where did I get that phrase from you ask? My dad used it a lot whenever one of his kids messed up on a supposedly easy task. Never at me though. Mostly it was directed to my little brother, then older sister with an occasional one to my older brother. Not me. Believe that? This morning’s ticket incident notwithstanding.

OK, Sorin is Borin so no big deal. Lets ride TT. We enter the line and after about twenty minutes we reach the front. “How many?” “Three.” “OK, wait here.” I looked at DDBF and scowled. They laughed. Go through the pre show and it’s time to ride. This is the first time BF did this she thinks (it was confirmed later).

Glad I wasn’t driving
IMG_5498-1.jpg

They had a lousy time
IMG_5505.jpg

From there it was to my all time favorite Mission Space. Love, love, love this ride. Another first for BF. We made our landing and it is off to a first for all of us. Spaceship Earth post rehab.

IMG_5507-1.jpg

Have to love the way they designed the golf ball
IMG_5508-1.jpg

The new interactive elements are cool
IMG_5511.jpg

Things are going well although I prefer Walter Cronkite as narrator (I am a purist after all). Then the ride stops. We wait and wait and wait. I was going a bit batty listening to the news kid yelling that WWI was over, the recorded message that they were experiencing technical difficulties and the CM announcements over the PA system. Sometimes all three of them at once. After about 15 minutes we got a message we will be moving. And we did. For about three feet. More waiting… I began to think that we would need to be evacuated. That would be interesting. Some people started taking flash pictures and I said why not?

IMG_5515-1.jpg

This one was special because for years, my mother worked as a telephone operator. Granted not in that era.
IMG_5514-1.jpg

Finally after about 25 minutes it moves again. While the delay took away from the experience, I thought the rehab was well done. So far Disney is 3 for 3 on recent classic rehabs with Haunted Mansion, Pirates and now this. Hopefully the same will be said with Space Mountain.

After exiting, it was past the start time for the Soarin fast passes. Although I could have talked to a cast member and probably would get in, we separated so I could get fast passes to ride Test Track again. The sacrifices I make for my child. After getting the passes I ran into the Jamitors and they put on a great show as usual.

IMG_5526-1.jpg

This CM has been there forever (He is really good too)
IMG_5525-1.jpg

Meanwhile, the kids should have finished Soarin so I called DD’s cell. While dialing, a missed phone call and new voicemail message notifications popped up. Checking the voicemail it seems DD & BF decided they wanted to eat. This got me a little ticked. OK, I am waiting for you to get off a ride where you screwed up a one car funeral, while I go and get fast passes to another ride and you decide instead of meeting me and getting something to eat together, it was, “Hey lets eat.” Found them sitting in the land and after a chastisement, we left. As an apology she asked me what I wanted to do next.

Since we were on the right side already we went to the seas for a few minutes but the ultimate goal was to see figment.

IMG_5527-1.jpg

Mine. Mine. Mine.
IMG_5528-1.jpg

Sorry, but since the changeover and the emphasis on Nemo this has lost some of its luster to me. Since the wait for finding him was not long we did that. Cute but more geared for the kids. If I do however make it to Disneyland, I will ride the subs. We did get to see the dolphins go through a training session and the mandatory visit to the manatees. Both were cool.

From there it was off to Journey to Imagination. The last time I was there was years ago. Not much has changed including my thoughts about the ride. Who knows when we will be back here again so I took a lot of pictures. Here are a few of them.

Hey Fig
IMG_5537-1.jpg

Edited Post: I am listening to a podcast doing an in depth review of the original Journey ride including some audio. It brought back some great memories. What a difference. It was unique, dare I say imaginative and still should be running today. I mean come on. Remember the scene with Fig trying to keep the monster book closed? Classic. The current version is OK and don’t get me started on the second version. It is a shame that this ride was changed. I am sure it will be a long time that I go again because it is just a so so attraction. End of edit and sermon.

The girls decided to play at a few of the exhibits

IMG_5540-1.jpg

After that it was back to the land so they could watch me eat. I don’t remember what I had but it came to $15.94. That included a dessert that they split. Ran out of picture space on this post so more of our adventure later. Up Next: Bev, Kim and Tink

Thanks for the update. Like many, I really enjoy reading your trip reports. Your sense of humor appeals to me.

i have really enjoyed your TR. Can't wait for us to experience disney the way yall are as we are new DVC'ers. I think that your daughter is lucky to have you as a dad. patience and a sense of humor! that is a good combo! Keep it coming, needing to hear more!

I am happy they removed the "flag" from the golf ball. It looks much better. Soaring is boring???? I think not. I like Soaring; the ride gives me time to relax.

You have not been to DisneyLand? I used to prefer DL before DW included Epcot and AK. I still enjoy DL but DW has stolen my vacations (as has DVC).

Can’t show the front sign because this is a family friendly site. Should have gotten an idea by the look of the outside. I can only imagine Kevin reviewing it for the podcast.

How to describe the place? If you have gone to Key West and visited Sloppy Joe’s, well this is a slightly toned down version. It was nutty hot in there. The AC was working but the whole back is opened up to the beach. With no breeze and another scorching hot day it was Animal Kingdom hot in there (another Disney reference).

So how was the day? Tiring. I am glad the car decided to take the side trip. The hotel was a bargain. It was old but clean. Staff was not Disney friendly but efficient. The location was fantastic and the Sand Bar was interesting. The one thing I did not ask about was getting to the port from there but this might be an option the night before when and if I take another cruise.

Night Night.

Driving through unbelievable rainstorms for miles and miles I finally made it back home in the early afternoon. Have a rewrite of the grant tomorrow and then I am done for a couple of days. Next trip installment may be up Tuesday or more probably Wednesday.

OMG.... I was reading this post pleasantly and saw the Sand Bar pics!!! We have friends in Coco and when we visit them on our VB leg of our trips in August this is the place we get our food! Yes I will going back there in 3 weeks!!! Kids will get the Frisbee plate meal! Now I am getting SUPER excited for our trip!!!:cool1:

Thanks for the update. Like many, I really enjoy reading your trip reports. Your sense of humor appeals to me.

Thank you for reading. It is fun reliving the trip through the report and I enjoy sharing it with others. Glad you are enjoying it.

i have really enjoyed your TR. Can't wait for us to experience disney the way yall are as we are new DVC'ers. I think that your daughter is lucky to have you as a dad. patience and a sense of humor! that is a good combo! Keep it coming, needing to hear more!

You know I have BLT envy. Congratulations and welcome home. We are heading to the finish line on our trip and I hope to have more up soon. Thanks for reading and have a great first trip home.

I also prefer the non decorated golf ball. It is really a cool structure just by itself. Sorry about Soarin. Maybe it is because the first time I went it was during extra magic nighttime hours and the wait time was ridiculous. After exiting I thought, I waited forever for that? Scarred me ever since.

I have gone to DL twice, the first time when DD was a toddler. It is a great but shall we say “intimate” park. I did the Walking in Walt’s Footsteps tour which was really interesting. This is his park and even though he picked out the location, you cannot really say that about the MK. Walking around DL I was saying, hey, Walt probably touched this. We did do the subs that time because they were closed at the MK. When and if I go out again, I will see the new version and ride on Mr. Toad’s, another MK attraction I miss.

Cool, glad I posted the side trip. The check in person at the hotel told me about the Sand Bar when I asked about a place to eat that was local. Really good steak burrito. Next time I am in Cocoa, I will visit them again. Have a great time on your trip.

QUOTE]

Opps, I just reread my quote, It sounds :snooty:, I was teasing you about Soaring. I do like the ride but I am so laid back that boring is my style. :goodvibes

Great updates! The Poly pool seems kind of small - I'd like to try it out someday though, when the kids are older. EWWWW about those kids in the lake - don't they have signs posted saying not to get in the lake?
Another Soarin fan here - the technology and innovation of that ride are incredible to me, not at all borin'!
