Disney with a 9 month old?

So, what's the consensus on Disney with a 9 month old? Pros and Cons?

Pros: free admission, Baby Care Centers, rider switch is simple, priceless memories
Cons: None! My kids were 3 months, 5 months and 18 months (for 2 of them) on their first trips. Go and enjoy Disney with your baby!

We took my grandson when he was 9 months, it was an enjoyable trip.
•Take advantage of the baby care centers. They are a great place to escape the crowds, heat & noise.
•If it is hot, have a fan and SPF blanket for the stroller. DGS slept comfortably in the September heat with a good quality fan and an SPF blanket covering his stroller.
•Dress baby in comfortable clothes. I have seen lots of baby "princesses" that look very uncomfortable. On a hot day a indie is best. Babies don't need uncomfortable costumes and shoes.
•Don't try to cram everything in. Take it slow and relax. If you push too hard everyone will be stressed. Relax and enjoy!
•Bring lots of straps to attach toys, snack cups and sippy cups to the stroller.
•If you don't have a baby carrier, think about getting one. DD loves her Tula, and has used it a lot at WDW.

We just returned from a trip with our dd's (ages: 4, 2 and 6 months) and our six month old was definitely the easiest. She loved every second of it including the characters. She went crazy for the Fab Five!

I took DS at 8 months and 11 months. Both were great trips. If you enjoy Disney and want to go, do it! We used rider swap and DS went on everything without a height restriction without issue. He liked the characters, too!

Our last trip my kids were 10 months, 2 and 5. The baby was the easiest. He loved It's a small world and the Peter Pan ride. We have the best picture of him with lipstick on his cheek from Snow white when we went to Akerhaus. He really loved the characters! He slept in the stroller for naps and was very easy going.

We just got back. My 7 month old went on lots of rides, giggled on Dumbo and at the characters, and slept through the haunted mansion. He was easy- much easier than his 3-yr old sister- because he was generally confined to his stroller or Ergo. Plus we used him to get rider switch passes and my other kids got to ride the big rides twice.

Cons: sharing a room with a baby and 2 other kids. Needed to be dark and quiet by 8pm every night!

Pros: baby is free, probably can't walk yet, still sleeps a lot, it's fun watching the baby experience Disney
Cons: babies require a lot of stuff to carry around

Honestly, our trips with our DS at 3 months and 15 months have been awesome. With our girls, we waited until they were 3 and 5 before their 1st trip and we so regret that. Babies at Disney is so much fun, IMO.

Babies are easy at WDW, we took DD at 10 months, 17 months and just over 2.... All trips had challenges, all trips has amazing pros and cons. (Trip reports for 10 and 17 months in signature).

At 10 months they go with the flow, will be in ergo, or stroller, can ride most everything with out height restrictions. Food can be easy or hard depending how much real food you've intruduced already. We only gave her stuff she had already had at home. Baby care centers are great, but didn't need them much at 10 months. 17 months we needed them more.

Only cons I can think of are, amount of stuff you may need, we shipped most of the stuff, just easier for us. Are you strict schedule people (for the baby). Will you be willing to push it a bit if they stay up late nap at a different time, or in the stroller, etc. if you want to stick to the schedule that's fine too but just plan for it, so your not rushing to make it back to the hotel for nap time or bed time.
