Hi all,
We are making a trip to Disney this Sept with our son, who will be 15 months. Last yr we also made a trip there, and he was only almost 4 months and there obviously wasn't a whole lot to do, but was still fun. What things should I look for this year that he will be able to take part in or enjoy as opposed to last yr, if any? I can't wait, as it is going to be so much more fun to see his reactions since he is walking and trying to talk so much more now :)

P.S. Also, any tips for doing Disney with a now-mobile little toddler are helpful!

He will love Everything! When it's his nap time at magic kingdom, take the train around the park so you can relax and enjoy the scenery while he snoozes. I do that with my toddlers and it works like a charm.

When we went with our then 20month old he LOVED the play area under the bridge by splash mountain. It worked out really well for us, too, because my 4yo was tall enough to ride that and big timber, so one of us would go to the play area with him while the other took our 4yo on the rides our toddler couldn't go on.

We went in Sept, too, and because of the heat typically made it a point to head back to the hotel for swimming/naps which helped. We also made sure to have a stroller fan and reclining stroller for him to nap in and stay cool.

We love the play area in Dumbo - it usually isn't very crowded and it is air conditioned!!

Oh PS my DD is 21 months but we went when she was 15 months - right after New Years.

Thanks for the tips! do any of you have any suggestions for stroller rentals? We were looking at renting the Citi Mini GTs. He does fall asleep in his stroller at times and I wanted one that reclines.....

DD was 15 months on her first trip and everything brought smiles and giggles! Well, almost everything. I had scheduled a couple of character meals thinking she'd love them, but that didn't work too well. She didn't cry but got anxious when they were close to the table so I just put my hand out to let them know not to stop by, and that worked well for us as she did like looking at them from afar.

I've rented a stroller for our last 2 trips from Kingdom Strollers without a single problem. They have the Citi Mini GTs.

We take our city mini gt and love it. It is a big to travel with but it's worth it. My son has no problem sleeping in the stroller. And the sun cover is fantastic.

We're also taking our DD in Sept to Disney and she will also be 15 mo! From what I've read and heard from others is to just go with the flow. Watch his cues and if there is something he loves, keep doing it! This trip is definitely about our daughter and not really about us. Granted, we will try and do some the rides DH and I love but DD does come first.
