Disney Wish with a 7 month old

I'm travelling on the Wish with my 7 month old and 3 other adults in September. I'm wondering what there is to do on an evening on board with a baby? He'll happily sleep in his stroller so we don't want to be confined to the room come 9pm but I can't seem to find any bars/lounges etc that aren't adults only.

Also - if anyone has any tips for cruising with a formula fed baby let me know!

There is a nursery onboard that your baby can go to. He could sleep there while you go out and do other activities

Thank you, though I'd much rather him stay with us if possible. It seems very backwards that disney cruises are aimed towards children yet after 9pm there's nothing they can do.

Have you had a bad experience with the nursery?

No not at all, we've never been on any cruise before. I just don't love the thought of leaving him on his own that's all. I'd hoped there would be a family bar with some music or something that he could come and sit in with us until later on

We are all adults now so I don't pay much attention to the family activities much but 1 night will be pirate night so he can certainly attend all those events (fireworks, party). I recall from our Wish Cruise there was a family event going on at the lounge upstairs from Luna one night (Tritons maybe?) as we could hear them over our event and we had to take a break til they quieted down. On the other ships when we walk past D Lounge on our way to the adult area there is usually a family event going on there around 10:00. I'm not sure what is comparable on the Wish but there must be something.

My kiddo is a vacation night owl and has been cruising since she was 5 (she is almost 11 now). We do late dining and there is typically a family activity after that - dance party, karaoke, trivia, etc. We haven't sailed on the Wish so I can't speak to venues, but the late-night family activity is often on the D Lounge on other ships.

There is usually a late-night movie in the theater that starts after late dining as well.

There are tons of things for kids to do after 8-9. granted some of those things a kid under a year old won’t get as much enjoyment out of, but that is different than saying Disney doesn’t have anything for kids in the evening. Here are some examples from the Wish for your whole party to enjoy (many you can have a drink if you would like)
One dinner seating isn’t until 815
There is a show (musical like Little Mermaid) starting at 8 pm as the late show
The Hero Zone for basketball/ping pong/etc is open until 1030-11 pm
There are movies playing at night on the Funnel vision by the pool
The movie theater shows first run movies until 1 am
Pirate show and fireworks is at 1015 followed by dance party for families
Family Karaoke or dance parties on some nights
Character meets occur after 830-9
The nursery is open until 11 pm and the kids club (ages 3-12) is until midnight.

Yes many of the bars are 18 and up after 9 pm, but I don’t think that’s unreasonable to not have kids in a bar at that hour. We bring our kid to the kids club if we want to have a drink at night, it’s more entertaining for her as well.

Thanks, everyone I was just worried that we'd all be tucked up in bed at 9pm and miss out on activities that we may not know about!
