Disney Wish laundry question

Realize this is oddly specific but my family only uses dye/perfume-free laundry soap for allergy purposes. I usually travel with Tide Free & Gentle pods since they're easier to pack than laundry soap, but have come across a number of hotel laundry rooms specifically saying not to use pods (liquid only). Can anyone confirm that the washers on the Wish work with pods? Thanks in advance!

Can't confirm the Wish, but I know from personal experience that Tide pods I bring with me ('cause I like them and I'm cheap) work fine w. the washers on the Magic and Wonder.

We don't use pods at home (liquid only). Do you throw the pod directly into the machine or place it in the detergent section?

Directly into the machine, so it *should* be fine unless there are signs saying "liquid only." (I use liquid at home too.)

I always use pods.

Haven’t been on the Wish, but used pods as recently as May on the Magic.

Here is the signage and detergent dispenser for the Wish (from Disneycruiselineblog):

Nothing about restrictions listed.

And my load has never picked up any scent from previous perfumed loads.

I also bring dryer sheets, as the dryers are very hot.

I used pods on the wish as well; we just tossed them in. We did not see any signs around saying liquid only (and in fact, arent the boxes they sell a powder..?)
