So we have a group of 8 going on the Disney Wish June 27 to July 1st. we have 3 rooms booked for the group with 2 verandah rooms.

Plan is to follow with 4 days at Disney World July 1st to July 5th. Normally always do cruise after disney but the timing just worked out to great to add the days at Disney on at the end. Used our DVC points to stay over halloween time, Thanksgiving time, Christmas and New Years. Now get to add July 4th to the list as well.

It can't get here soon enough

Yikes. Cant imagine how busy and hot it will be at WDW during that time.

We live in Orlando and I have no desire to be in the parks during june, july and august.

well our kids are older and can go to the parks on their own. My wife and I will likely just spend our time at the resort pool and touring different restaurants/bars at the resorts and keep it pretty laid back.

We're doing a similar thing in reverse. We're on the 6/24-6/27 cruise right before you and are planning to do WDW before that for the 50th. I wanted to have the cruise as our a post-park relaxation.
Of course, that all depends on our ability to book through DVC as well.

Recommendation:
I love July 3rd in Magic Kingdom! It's not as crazy busy as you would think, and (at least before Covid) they do the same amazing fireworks as on July 4th.

We are doing the same thing!!! 4 days at Disneyworld 20th - 24th and then the cruise...
