A few questions about the wifi..
  • Is the wifi 'open' access or do you need a code? If so , where do you get it from?
  • Is the wifi code/SSID the same in all parks?
  • Is it different in the hotels?
  • Basic question is am I going to have a load of new access points and passwords or is it one for all?

No passwords. I don't *think* it's different at each hotel, but every time I connected after a certain period of time I just have to 'accept' the agreement again.

The SSID will vary based on location:
Theme Parks & DTD: 'Disney-Guest'
Resort Guest Rooms: 'In-room Guest WiFi (Disney)'
Resort Common Areas: 'Public Space Guest WiFi (Disney)'

Access is not secured (no password required).

So the ID varies from location to location but there is no access control.
Hopefully that's 'secure'..

I just got back yesterday. There is pretty good coverage in the parks and resorts. There are no passwords to connect to it. Speeds varied. Sometimes it was pretty quick, and there were times that I turned off Wi Fi on my phone and used my data which was quicker. Its not perfect, but adequate.
