Disney While Pregnant

Since I have not stopped visiting during my pregnancy I have a few tips to share.

1. Yes you can get a GAC but do not ask them for a pregnancy pass. Tell them you can walk but can not stand still in line. That is all they need to know. This will get you the gac that allow you to wait somewhere outside of line for your turn to ride. Standing still is about a 7 on my pain scale due to back pain from my really huge belly. This is more a need once you have a big belly. Up until 4 months on a normal pregnancy you may not need this. Each pregnancy is different so it is something you may not need even at month 8 even. I always look like I am smuggling a watermelon under my shirt after month 6 begins.

Of course that brings me to point number 2.

2. Rent the ECV if you can, especially once our weather down here tops out over 75 degrees. You do not want to over heat and cause extra stress to your baby. It will happen sooner than you think with all the movement you do at the park. Although an ECV wont completely relieve your ankle swelling. It will help there as well.

3. Pregnancy is not a disability but if you over do it you are going to end up in more trouble than a non pregnant person. Common sense will keep you from wasting a day at the hospital ER. Drink lots of fluid, snack often, and do not feel like you are wasting money by going to your room for an hour or two to recoup energy used up.
