Disney "What If?"

Stealing the idea from Marvel Comics series What If, where they would tell a different story each month, like "What If Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive grasshopper". Nothing really that lame, but you get the idea. For all of you Big Bang Theory fans, think of it as exploring Disney alternate realities.

I thought it could be fun to explore Disney "What Ifs".
I read one time in one of the guide books that Cheap Trick was asked to be the starring band for Hollywood Studios (MGM) Rock N Roller Coaster and of course they turned it down, so

"What If it was Rock "n" Roller Coaster starring Cheap Trick"?

Would it be the same experience, would Cheap Trick be more popular today, or would the attraction eventually turn into, Rock "n" Roller Coaster starring The Jonas Brothers?

One more to make you go "Hmm"

A1: Cheap Treak in my opinion is a better band and more talented than Aerosmith, but personal opinions aside Aerosmith is HUGE worldwide and is as reconizable as bands like the Rolling Stones, Queen, Led Zepplin etc...So if it were Cheap Trick's Rock 'n' Roller c=Coaster it would have eventually shifted as you mentioned and would have become a rotation of artists maybe not Jonas Brothers but maybe popular bands of the day....But the song "Surrender" would be awesome for a Roller Coaster, especially if they had Cheap Trick.....Personal taste I'd love AC/DC's or Motley Crue's Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, give it a little more punch!!!!

A2: I could be wrong but didn't it all start with Oswald the Rabbit?? What if it all started with a happy go lucky Sloth?? But if you mean if Oswald became as popular as Mickey did? Well in that case Disney would be selling choclate covered carrots and Rabbit Ears
