Does anyone know, if you can buy FL Res. 3 day passes at the welcome center in Ocala? If so, do you need a AAA membership? Also, do you get an actual ticket or is it a voucher to be exchanged at the parks? We would really appreciate any info. you can provide. We are FL residents in desperate need of purchasing our DS a ticket, before going out of town tomorrow. :sad2: We live in Tampa & would rather not drive all the way to Orlando. We have to drive by Ocala anyway. FYI, we don't have a AAA membership, if it's required. :guilty: TIA :)

I just found out the Welcome Center is no longer open. :guilty: We would welcome any other suggestions for purchasing them w/o having to drive to Orlando.

Unfortunately, our DS needs the ticket next week. He chose to go to WDW with my sister & her kids instead of going on a cruise with us. :( I would let him purchase it at the park, but he's only 14 & doesn't have an ID. I don't know how he could prove he's a resident. :confused3 I know we should have taken care of this sooner, but it's been kind of crazy around here lately. :guilty:

I'm pretty sure, but not positive, he'll need an ID no matter how you purchase the ticket. I think FL Residents are given vouchers that need to be activated, but I could be wrong.

My response here will bump this up so someone with more experience can answer.

Does your son have a school ID he could use? You may be able to send a copy of his birth certificate and a copy of YOUR license to prove that he's your child and a FL Resident.

As to where you can buy tickets, if there's a Disney Store around you, I know you can buy them there. The other option is to purchase them online.

The web sites state that only adults need to provide proof of Florida residency. I'd call and find out to be sure. If he does need an ID, go to a Driver License office tomorrow and apply for an ID card - they only cost a few bucks ($3 I think). Get a receipt just in case it doesn't get mailed to you in time.

Thanks for the suggestions. :) His school doesn't have IDs, & I'm afraid he'd lose his BC. It's from NC & not easily replaced. We leave today to take him to NC to my sister's, before flying to SD. No time to go get a FL ID. I know we shouldn't have waited so long, but now our options are limited. :guilty: Does The Disney Store sell tickets or vouchers? If I can get a ticket, it would be much faster to go there. :thumbsup2 If not, where can we purchase a ticket in Orlando, w/o paying parking at one of the parks? I'll call both TDS & WDW later today, before we leave. Thanks again for your help. :)
