Disney Weddings turning into nightmare weddings

I honestly must say what happened to the good old any wish you have will be answered for a price of course but now they tell me a Suite party is not allowed and I wanna know why I offered to pay for security people to oversea it all .So why not cmon Disney stepup and make my wishes come true.

Are you talking about just having people over for some food or a party in place of a reception type? They probably are not allowing it so that you won't disturb the other guests. As it is any Disney venue that are close to guest rooms have limitations as to time and type of entertainment allowed.

I'm confused too, when you say "suite party" are you talking about having a party in a hotel suite? Why not rent a private home if you want to have a party? I sure wouldn't want my hotel neighbors having a party and waking my 3 kids, no offense to those who want parties. I'd say that at least half (if not more) of the people who go to Disney have young kids who go to bed early. That could explain their policy.

You're renting a suite at the Swan? Now I am very confused. Because the Swan and Dolphin are not Disney properties. Are you trying to hire Disney security for your party at the Swan? I think we need some more details. What kind of party are you trying to have? A bachelor type party or a reception? Something else? Also I don't think this qualifies as a "nightmare wedding".

Ok let me help you all understand. At first I wanted to rent beach club suite and was turned down .So now I found the nice folks at Swan who were willing to let me do what I wanted to do.

Another DISBride, I think her name was BridetoBe (she had the ceremony at the GF Marina all in hot pink), had a suite party but they booked the room for the night and had it catered through an outside company. I think the reason for using the outside company was because DFTWs cannot do things like that. She also ordered from private dining for certain things like the bar. It was in a suite at the GF that had a veiw of the bay and I believe a view of Wishes.
