Hi folks, i hope you don't mind me jumping in here, i´m helping my sister plan for her wedding, she´s hoping to have it at the pavilion then out to Grand Floridian for the reception. We live in the UK and Ireland so it´s not easy to get over. My question i´m hoping you can help with, is how far in advance will the wedding team meet with you? we´ve a trip planned this year, but she´s not planning on getting married until 2019....... Do you think Disney weddings would meet that far in advance?

Disney will not officially start working with you until 16 months out from your date, but she might be able to do a site visit that early. A sales consultant will take you to up to three venues to look around (she should pick ones she can't get into by herself, like Living Seas Salon). I have photos of all the venues here. Sometimes people just tell DFTW they're getting married earlier than they are so they can start getting real info. I also have all the pricing and policies in my PassPorter guide. And of course you guys can post any questions you have in the main DISboards Weddings & Honeymoons forum and we'll try to answer them for you!

Most of these photos were probably hosted by photobucket, which no longer allows sharing on sites like this. Which would be why you can't see them any more

Looks like this thread has been empty for 2 years, but I was looking with the addition of Galaxy's Edge if anyone has done wedding shots there? Would love to see anyone's pictures. Alas, we got married 5 years too early.

@Erzengel Disney does allow pre-park-opening portrait sessions in Galaxy's Edge via Disney Fine Art Photography, but the couple cannot wear bridal attire.
