Disney Wedding Help

I know most of you are doing the fairy tale wedding at disney (I wish I could), but I'm hoping you can give some good ideas for me as well.

I am getting married in October with a tent wedding at home and we are planning a Disney themed wedding. We are trying to stick to a Mickey and Minnie theme although we do have some Cinderella things. Anyway I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or suggestions for me to incorporate this theme.

so far we have a cake topper (although we could always have a few more to put around the cake!) and we have a ring bearer pillow. i am planning on ordering the disney invitations and our florist has designed two really pretty centerpieces using a mickey and minnie topiary that i bought. i wanted to do do a small mickey topiary on each table, but i could only find large 3 ft high ones that i liked so thats why we only have two. if anyone knows where i can find smaller disney topiaries that would be great.

any other suggestions or ideas. anything you can offer as far as the cake, decorations, favors, guest books, gifts, monograms and whatever else you can think of. im pretty crafty so if you have ideas on how to make anything let me know that too.

You could have a plain cake (as in smooth frosting) and then have mickey's piped on. Or have some hidden mickeys put into any design of cake.

You could also do some hidden mickey's around the room for your guests to spot out.

For music you could get the DFTW cd (instrumentals) and have it played during dinner or the cocktail hour.

we has hidden Mickey’s as well....we had all the guys wear Disney ties with their tuxes...and all the girls with Mickey necklaces....My necklace was also a chain of Mickey’s....my flowers had little Mickey crystals inside...and along with the guys flowers....and the flower girl baskets had the crystal Mickey’s on the sides....

we did Cinderella table names and had a happily ever after cake....

also they sell cake knifes with bride and groom mickey/minnie
