Disney Wedding Dresses!!

At first the idea of having a wedding dress in style of my favourite princess sounds nice. BUT: imagine you have your wedding at the WP, Disney dress, and while going over there, you see another bride with the exact same dress as yours. I wouldn't feel special/ unique anymore.

I don't find that any of those sketches actually resemble the princess' gown that they are supposed to. For instance, many of them are strapless while the princesses' are not.

Imagine that. I'd hate to see the price tag on a Disney Wedding dress. Wew! Although no doubt they would be breathtaking.

ilovepooh, I just saw the pic of your adorable DS and the Playskool ball popper. DS(just turned 2) got one for his first birthday and has played with it daily for the past year+. I hope your son gets as much use out of it as mine did :goodvibes .

That's too bad but to be honest, there are so many beautiful wedding dresses out there that you will look like a princess in whatever you choose! :goodvibes

I agree. I love the southern bell look and had to have my wedding dress with the frills to it. Found out they weren't that expensive, mine was $800 (back in '99).

I was thinking little poofs on the sleeves, etc. I didn't think they resembled the princess' gowns either.

love this idea and i totally want one for our VR! ::yes:: so cute!
The prices are definately in line with the price of the gowns i looked at and with one of my final selections

Wish it was out 3 yrs ago!!!

after looking at the pics, i love the Cinderella and Snowwhite gowns!

But i do agree, that sooo many WDW brides are going to want the Disney gowns, and there is a chance you show up and BAM you see another one :)

HHMMMMM, I guess I am cheap....I would look for a reasonable dress and put the 3 grand into the honeymoon at WDW. I agree with the duplicate gown issue..that would seriously put a damper on my "feeling special" as a Bride to see a dress I chose go dancing by on another "princess" (especially if it was a smaller size!) However, glad the option is out there, many will enjoy!

I always knew I wanted to have a Princess gown when I got married. My wedding dress looked like Sleeping Beauty's. It was gorgeous. So much prettier than the sketches.

I don't think any of the sketches even look a tiny bit like what the princesses wear. They could do so much with the actual styles the princesses wear done in white with maybe some color options if the bride wanted. The dresses from Japan look much more like the princess dresses.
I made my gown in 1974 and it cost me $34, dress, long train and floor length veil. I used 4 different patterns so I got exactly what I wanted. I couldn't find what I wanted in any dress store.
My girls dresses cost $23 each and the flower girls dress was free because I used the left over fabric from the bridesmaids. The gowns were beautiful.
I tossed the gown away a few years ago. I let my future sister-in-law wear my gown for her wedding.
I got divorced, my brother and SIL got divorced. I didn't want to curse anyone else with that gown. But it was beautiful.

omg, i would have bought this one! the japanese one are so much more princessy
