Disney wedding cake - Top tier question

Hi,

My husband and I got married at the Pavillion two years ago in June. Our honeymoon was pretty long (almost two weeks) and by the time we left and had flown home, the top tier of our cake was unsalvageable. So, for our 1st year anniversary, we didn't have anymore.

We are going back for our two year anniversary in a few months and I had a question. I had heard somewhere that the Grand Floridian would (for a price) remake the top tier of your cake if you were married there and deliver it to your room. (we're staying at the Wilderness Lodge this time) Is this true?

Has anyone else ever heard of this and what it would cost? I would really appreciate any advice on this.

I would love to know this to........I was going to email my old em and see if she knew but I am craving that cake, it was so good..........the best I've had and we didn't get to bring ours home.

Please help, I need more cake!!!!!!!!!!

I'm almost positive that this can be done. This is one of the things that if you're prepared to pay for it Disney will do it.

I would call DFTW and speak to someone tell them what you are trying to do and they'll either co-ordinate or put you through to the GF Convention and Catering department.
