Disney Website Changed Hours for Oct 3 & 4

So now the website says MK is open until 9pm on the 3th and closing at 7pm on the 4th.

So I'm guessing that the 3rd is now just a regular operating day and some special event is happening on the 4th??

Maybe they added another MNSSHP if it wasn't already a party night?

Thanks for the update! There's been much discussion on the DIS about the changes, but just to recap:

The MNSSHP originally scheduled for Oct. 3 has been canceled. The operating hours have been extended to 9pm.

The MK is closing early on Oct. 4 for the rescheduled MNSSHP. Tickets are on sale now.

Thanks!Well,whatever the event is,it is going to be a LATE event! I would think it will take untill close to 11:00 to clear the Park completely after a 9:00 closing.

My thought is that there is no special event. That someone started that story and it grew and grew and now we know they just wanted to have a party on Sat night rather than Friday. Which doesn't really help my original plan but oh well I'll be in Disney we will make the most of it.
