I'll be at Disney for 7.5 or 8 days this summer, still trying to decide if i want to stay another day...

BUT Park Savers has a deal for the park hopper and water park package.

Is it worth it for an adult? I enjoy water slides, but if they're all small/made for little kids, I'll probably skip out. But the lazy river is luring me in a little. Tell me your thoughts.

Totally not just made for kids!! There's plenty of bigger slides and a lazy river in both parks.

Without a doubt, it's not a bunch of kiddie slides. There are some major league slides and rides at both water parks. Blizzard Beach (BB) has one called Summit Plummet and Typhoon Lagoon (TL) has one called Humunga Kowabunga, just to name two. Each park has other large slides too. The wave pool at TL is like nothing you've ever seen...be ready, the waves are very strong. The waves at BB are much more calm and relaxing. Both have a nice lazy river, and both parks have more moderate slides for kids or adults who went a less intense thrill. I've seen discussion on here about some people not liking them and skipping them. If I were only at WDW for a weekend, I'd probably skip it because the 4 main parks have so much to offer. But if you're there for a week or more and skip the water parks, you're cheating yourself out of a fun time. We're going for 2+ weeks and plan to hit the water parks at least 4 or 5 times.

I haven't been to either water parks but just watching some Disney specials on tv, I know for a fact that they are not just for kids. I would go for it!

We are two adults who love to go to Typhoon Lagoon. The tropical theme there is fun, the slides are great, and the wave pool is our favorite. Haven't been to Blizzard Beach yet because we love Typhoon Lagoon so much.

Typhoon Lagoon is one of our favorite parks! We enjoyed Blizzard Beach as well but since we both are big on heights, the lift terrified us! lol.

In the past, we have planned water park days in between theme park days to give our feet a break. Lazy rivers are always nice, and we enjoyed the family raft slides. There's plenty to do even if you're not into the big drop slides.

The water parks are absolutely worth it for adults. I am not a huge water park fan but I do like Typhoon Lagoon.
I enjoy the family and individual raft slides and the lazy river. And Crush 'n' Gusher is a blast! The body slides are a little painful - the joints in the slide hurt! The wave pool is fun but watch out for the bottom of the pool since it is really rough. I've seen many people exiting the pool with bloody knees and elbows.

Typhoon Lagoon! It's a favorite destination for us as a "middle-aged" adult couple. The joints on the body slides can get annoying after a few rides - so I ride those less than the ones with tubes - but we love going!

For my 30th bday we did IoA and Typhoon Lagoon. No kids in our party. Well, unless you count us, the 30-35 year old "big kids" :)

DW and I are in our late 50's and we love the water parks. BB is our favorite. We can live on the Lazy River! :fish:

We pack a picnic meal, have our books and like the relaxing nature of just chilling out. We're not into the major slides, but do like a few of the features. We have 10 Water Park visits each remaining on our No-Expire + tickets, and look forward to using them over the next few years.

When I lived/worked there I would go to Typhoon Lagoon just for the lazy river. Great way to relax and unwind in the middle of hot day/stressful week. Go for it!

This is us! We try to go everyday instead of a trip back to our room. Sometimes just a couple of relaxing trips around the lazy river. Love the slides, too!
