Disney water parks worth it for an adult?

I'm in my mid-30's. My mom is in her 60's and we both LOVE going to the water parks. Especially Typhoon Lagoon. There is a lot for adults to do there. Lazy river, wave pool, water coaster, slides. If you get the chance, try it out! You might end up having a lot of fun.

I would like them if I didn't have young kids. My youngest is still at "watch me constantly or I'll drown" age. Its exhausting.

Definitely a good time for adults! Do go early, and make sure the weather is good! (Ligtening in the area will shut it down.) I enjoy Typhoon Lagoon....the wave pools are deceptively calm looking: be mindful.

I am in my 50's and I love the water parks. Blizzard Beach is our favorite!

Thanks everyone! Got my 5 day tickets that include the water parks. $385 for the park hopper plus water parks! Not bad!!

My whole family loves both waterparks! Our only regret is that we took about 10 trips before trying them out. Don't make that mistake.

I LOVE Typhoon Lagoon! Unfortunately, no time for it on our upcoming trip. If you have the time, it's a definite must do!!!

If you like to go on slides then definitely. There are a few good ones at Typhoon Lagoon that I've had lots of fun on. A few times I've gotten lucky and there were slim to no lines. Lots of fun.

I've been to Typhoon Lagoon. There are some awesome thrill slides that are great for adults and teens.

And I completely agree that the lazy river is an awesome way to relax. The wave pool is also definitely worth checking out. And when it's time for the big waves, it packs a mighty punch! It's so much fun!
