Disney water parks vs Noah's Ark in Wisconsin Dells

Hello everyone,

I need some help. Our family loves water parks, specifically Noah's Ark in Wisc Dells. For those of you who have been to Noah's Ark, how do Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon compare? Which one should we go to? Although our kids are young (9, 7 and 5), they love thrilling water slides. Is it worth our time to go to BB or TL or will we be disappointed? Cost isn't a factor for us because we have the water and more credits on our non-expiration tickets from last February. We are just curious because we don't want to ruin our kids future trips to Noah's Ark if Disney's waterparks are better. We also don't want to waste our day there if it's not as good as Noah's Ark. (Am I making any sense? )

I've never been to Typhoon Lagoon but I personally love BB. I've heard TL is more kid-friendly though.

I think Noah's Ark may have more "Thrilling" rides like the ones in total darkness.
Nothing like that at BB or TL.
If your kids love the BIG Kauna area, they'll love the tidal wave pool area at TL. BB has a thrill slide ( Summit Plummit) that you couldn't pay me to go on, I don't know if your kids would even be tall enough.
Enough said, read up on the attractions and make your decision. I think BB and TL are great!!

Noahs Ark is more crazy waterslides with less theming. BB and TL are both very nice parks and themed wonderfully. Go to TL if your just looking for a relaxing day at the waterpark with a few slides thrown in, but nothing too extreme. Otherwise visit BB if your looking for extreme waterslides! I think your kids would still enjoy Noahs Ark and have a good time at one of the Disney waterparks.

Back when I first got married, DH and I would go to Noah's Ark twice a year...he had never been to WDW and I was always telling him about how much nicer Typhoon Lagoon was because of the theming. He had no clue what I was talking about till I finally dragged him to WDW. I like Typhoon better overall, but Noah's has better rides overall, like Black Thunder, the Bermuda Triangle, etc. Typhoon's wave pool is better tho' because it has real waves vs. only agitation like Noah's.

the only water park that is better than the disney water parks is Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels, Texas... which is where there themed water park was pretty much invented. Noah's ark is cool, crazy slides, but not the theme, not the wow factor.

It seems as if you answered your own question, you don't want to go if it's better and you don't want to go if it's worse.
