Just a few questions I need answering!!!

1.) Do you get towels given to you when you get there or do you take your own
2.) We are going with an 18 month old- can you recommend any where to de camp all our stuff with some shade etc for her to rest/sleep in or do you have to pay for this- if so how much etc?
3.) Are there lockers to rent and how much?
4.) What sort of price is the food there?

You can hire towels, I think they were about $2 each or take your own.

Locker hire was $10 with a $5 returnable deposit AFAIR

Lots of fast food places eg burgers, nuggets, hot-dogs etc :)

The key to getting shade here is to get to the park as soon as possible after opening so you can get yourself a spot in/near the shade. Of course if you want to move base this won't help much later on, but early is definitely the key as those loungers get snapped up quickly.

Some useful info about the lockers, when they return your $5 when you leave, you get a receipt and you can use it for a locker at any other park on that day for a $5 refundable deposit (i.e. free). Nice if you go to the waterpark early, go back to resort for a nap and do another park later.

We took DD's pram at that age and she had an afternoon nap in it so I could put her in the shade.

Re shade at BB - arrive early, we went to the kids pool where there was lots of canopies over specific areas and we set up base there.

Typhoon Lagoon has wooden structures for shade - no idea what you'd call them but basically wooden roof held up by 4 corner posts:goodvibes

I'd arrive early to bag a convenient spot-they are at the back of the beach in front of the main wave pool.

Aquatica has less shade than Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach.

All 3 water parks have 'cabanas' that offer lots of shade - but at a premium.
