Am interested in buying one…….what is the selection like in the shops?

One night they had a watch sale....just generic watches, not specifically DCL in Treasure Ketch.

They offer DCL logo watches in both men and women's styles...some were reasonable some very expensive. Can't recall exact prices.

I purchased a Steamboat Willie Logo MM watch on the cruise. It' was $31.50. SS bezel with a crock embossed thick leather band. I thought it was very reasonable- considering. They had some childrens, plastic banded watches for ( I think) $15. In the Treasure Ketch, the watches are PRICIER. The cheapest I saw there was $299.00.

The watch sale must be an ongoing thing. My dad didn't want to wear his 50 year old Rolex (that he bought from a buddy for $50, now it's worth a lot more) on the cruise so he bought a pretty good looking watch in Treasure Ketch for $70.

We went on the July Western. My 13 year old son decided to use all of his vacation money to buy a watch at Treasure Ketch. He spent $100.00. The box it came in was as nice as the watch.

Thanks for this information. I collect Disney watches, the majority of which are limited edition or at the very least come in a cool box. I was disappointed that they didn't really have Disneyland Paris watches when I went in 2000. I was hoping to get a cruise watch.

I have to say I've been a little disappointed with the selection of DCL watches on our last few cruises. In fact I only remember two, one was a lesser expensive watch, with a nautical look. Then there was one other watch that was about $125. Was very nice, but wasn't sure if that was exactly what I wanted. The only time I found one was on our May 2000 cruise on the Magic. It is a really cool rectangular faced watch, with a black leather band which is specific to the Disney Magic. I wish they still sold more ship specific watches and other merchandise. I hope when we're on the ship in two weeks I'll find one I like. I love Disney watches as well. Hope you find something.

We also found the selection of watches and merchandise on board very disappointing. I think it is the main weak link on the ship! We have commented every time on the questionnaire cards about this, and I gather many other guests have done the same thing. Think the shops need a complete overhaul and new stock introduced. I too wanted a Mickey watch as a memento of my recent Wonder cruise. I was very disappointed in the selection offered on the ship.

After returning home I visited Disneystore.com and found the watch I wanted for less than the ones being offered on the ship.

I recently wore it with a tux to a formal affair and had many nice comments plus it opened the door to talk about my cruise!

I ordered my wife a DCL logo sport watch ahead of our cruise and they had it waiting for her in the cabin. Nothing fancy, but nice, and it was about $20. You can print the gift order form off the website and call or fax in the order.
