Disney Warehouse Vs. The Park Merchandise

Can anyone tell me what I can expect to find at the Disney Warehouse vs. what's in the parks right now?

My meaning is, will I see last season's things (Halloween?) at the Warehouse while there are Christmas things in the parks? Or will there be the same things in both places, so I can get Christmas themed things for less at the Warehouse?

Finally, can anyone tell me if I should hit up the Warehouse BEFORE we hit the parks, or AFTER? What are your thoughts?

It's been forever since we've been there, but it was not the same merchandise. It was a lot of clothing items. I went for sweatshirts, tee shirts and we did find buy a few.

Yes basically you will see Halloween right now. For the most part what is at the Characater warehouse is last years/seasons merchandise or things that didn't sell in the parks.

Every now and then they do have some of the same merchandise. Last December, my friend bought a sweatshirt at the warehouse, and we found the exact same sweatshirt in the park the next day. It was $20 cheaper at the warehouse. And it was not defective or anything. Maybe they just bought too many.

Finally, can anyone tell me if I should hit up the Warehouse BEFORE we hit the parks, or AFTER? What are your thoughts?

If I was a smart shopper I would set a souvenire budget and go to warehouse first. That way I could get more of what I wanted since it's more affordable there.

North on Harbor at Orangethrope...technically it is Fullerton.

Honestly I have never found anything at Character Warehouse. But I am not a big suvenior buyer.

The Disney Warehouse can be a hit and miss. I have been there when there was nothing worth buying and other times when it was stocked to the hilt. And yes I have seen the same merchandise offered there and at the Parks at the same time.
I am a budget shopper. I sometimes go to the warehouse first just to see what they have. Then I comparison shop at the Parks. I have returned to the warehouse a few times to purchase merchandise that I saw in the park that I knew I could get there cheaper.
