Disney Wall Art Swap * complete *

Sheila - I love them both!!!! Great job!

BAMB - hope DS is doing a bit better...I know all too well about injuries with an athlete :( On a brighter note...your trip is rapidly approaching!

Nan - great MH's!!! Love them!

Did the MRI today, which took an hour! No results yet, she said it may be Monday before we hear.

And, we canceled the trip. :-( BFF's hubby had a shift change and they revoked a bunch of guys leave time because they reduced the shifts from 10 hours to 8 hours. Her girls were devastated so we told them we weren't going either so they felt a little better. And with DS12 in the boot, DS16 possibly injured, and my grandma not doing well, it was just easier to not go.

I'm hoping for a Vaca somewhere in April, and Disney in December 2013.

And DS12 and I might do Everest 5K in May.

Sorry to hear that :sad1: Hope you get to go in the spring, and hope your BFF's kids get to soon as well.

Cute stuff everyone!!

I have mine ready to go. I am sending with DH to mail tomorrow-Monday(his office is next door to the PO) which means it will probably go out on Tuesday :lmao: so hopefully you should have it by the end of the week. Thanks!

Got a package from Nan. Everything is BEAUTIFUL and I know you will all love her pieces!

Sorry to hear about your trip getting cancelled Buffy. It would be more enjoyable though later when everyone is feeling better. So I think you made the right choice. Sad though.

Oh good!!! I'm so glad you received that package.. I was giving it till tomorrow before I started stalking the USPS!!

Sheila, love your MH's!!!

Buffy, sorry to hear you have to canc your trip....hope your DS will heal up quickly!

Erin, you are so close to your trip! have a magical time!

[/IMG] Good News is Hurricane Sandy played nice last night and let me keep my power, so I was able to work on this swap a little. Took pictures, so lets see if I remember how to post them.

Bad news is Cricut started making terrible grinding noises. Looks like it is on its last leg. I have all these cricut carts that I want to be able to use, but need SCAL. What am I going to do?

Stupid little red Xs. What am I doing wrong?

Danielle, in Photobucket, you need to copy the IMG code to the right of your photo, then click the icon that looks like a mountain above where you type a reply in, paste the IMG code from PhotoBucket and hit enter.

HTH!

Oh, and I LOVE your Mickey Heads!

Love your MH's Danielle...esp the cupcake one!!!

hope you can figure out your cricut issue....mine is making "those" noises once in awhile too, but I don't have SCAL to worry about.

Thanks Jennifer! Wow....what a blurry pic. Guess my photo skills have been disrupted by Sandy. :lmao:

Mexico is still missing an element. Just trying to decide what to put on it. Any ideas?

It's a Small World is done, as is the cupcake and pluto. Hope you like them.

Lisa, mine started making the noise from time to time a couple months ago. It's been increasing over the last couple weeks until now, when it makes the noise full time. Hoping I can get the last couple mickey heads cut before it totally dies. Going to look for an E2 on black friday and maybe ask for a silhouette for christmas. After all, I have been a very good girl this year. :bitelip:

yah, my noise comes and goes...but since I don't have SCAL to worry about I'm not to worried about replacing it....I hope you get both machines, you have been a very good girl!

Great Mickey Heads Danielle!!

Have you tried resetting your machine? Sometimes its just a pain in the butt. But I had 2 machines that made that noise and then died. Resetting did a temp fix.
1) First, turn your machine on with no cartridge loaded. Then you are going to roll all your gray dials (the two on the left and the one on the right) down to there lowest setting.

2) Then you will want to grasp the green/gold cylinder blade assembly and use it to pull the entire gray carriage car unit (the one with the Cricut bug on it) along its track to the other side of the machine. Back in the cave where the gray carriage car usually sits there is a red button. Press that button and hold it down for about three seconds. Let go and then move the gray carriage car back into place.

3) This next step will sound a bit odd, but many times it can fix your little "bug". You're going to roll all your dials all the way up and all the way down three times-three times for each dial.

4) Then you are going to hit the "Cut" button and turn the machine off. Let the machine sit for a few minutes (15-20), load a cartridge, turn it on, and try a practice cut.

Didn't even realize you could do this. I will try it tonight when I get home. My machine just sounds like there's something out of sync. This might be the fix! Thanks.
