I am bummed, because VMK forced one of my room's names to be changed, because it was "too religious in nature." I had named my room name, "I <3 The King of Kings Theatre," before it got pulled. My concern is whether or not this goes against my right to the 1st Ammendment which is the, "Freedoms of religion, speech, press, petition, and assembly."
According to The Universal Declaration of Human Rights:
"Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship, and observance."
Has Disney decided to set itself as intolerant to Christian beliefs? (It's not like I was forcing my beliefs on anyone--I just had a room that I created and shared it with whoever wanted to come). I would like to know people's opinions on this subject. Thanks!
