disney visa?

We transfered our money to the reward card. Does anyone know if we can take the reward card to the front desk and get disney dollars? We want to have disney dollars on us so we can buy pop and icecream from the vendors that do not take credit cards outside. Thanks for the info!!!

Last December I was able to use the rewards card at any type of cart in the parks. I got icecream and popcorn that I remember specifically. I do not know if the resort will turn the rewards into Disney dollars, but my guess would be no.

You can take it to the Disney Store and get Disney $ with it. I do it all the time for my kids

I've never bought Disney dollars, but I'm guessing that it's the same as buying anything else in the store. I just bring my purchases to the register and hand them my rewards card.

Yep It is just like using a credit card for purchasing them! If you go over the amount on your card, you can just pay the remaining balance with cash or another form of payment.

I tried using my Rewards Card to purchase a Disney Store Gift Card and they wouldn't let me. I wonder how purchasing Disney Dollars differs from a gift card?
