Since possibly no dining plan for our trip, does disney visa still give 10% off Disney restaurants?

It might not be all of them, just a select few. You must pay your bill with the Disney VISA and not with a magic band or other form of payment. Even if you are ultimately going to pay the total bill with your VISA.

Its not many and most of them are quick serve locations.
Plus you cannot apply the discount when mobile ordering.
If you do not already have a Disney Visa I would not apply for one thinking it will save you a ton of food.

I feel like they must have shifted from QS to TS because I do recall it had only been a couple TS locations and then QS locations like Cosmic Ray's and Fairfax Fare back when I first got my Disney Visa and I thought to myself well that's not worth the savings if I don't want to pay with a CC. Although when they were also offering free desserts I did use it a couple times.

I've had the Disney VISA since Day One (says so on my card!) and in my memory there's never been a discount at quick service locations. I am happy to use my VISA to get a 10% discount on the food, and then another 1% or 2% (depending on the card I use) back in rewards. Granted, it's not a ton of money, but it surely helps at signatures or buffets. You won't get the discount if you are using Disney VISA rewards "money" to pay for your meals, though.

I also noticed that the WDW Website for each restaurant lists any available discount below the "See Menu" and "Type of Food".

We used it for the first time this trip. We usually use DDP. I was surprised at how many of the ones we ate at gave the discount.

Yes, we used our TIW at TS restaurants the week leading up to Christmas. They even gave us the discount on Christmas Day, which is usually blocked out - said it was a bonus to make up for the time the parks were closed and for some restaurants still being closed.

Unfortunately, no, the MB isn’t sufficient to get the TIW discount. You need the TIW card itself. It’s the same as with DVC and AP discounts, although you will read reports from guests who got those discounts without showing their cards.

No, for the Disney Visa discount you need to use the physical card.

I’ve read that you may use the rewards card and still receive the discount. I haven’t tried personally but am planning to do so in a few weeks.
