I just want to make sure I have this right, if I put part of my disney trip on my visa I will not be charged interests for 6 months right? I only want to put a few hundred on the card. I never keep a balance on the card and do not want to be charged interests! Just making sure I understand! Thanks!

Yes, you do get 6-months no interest. I will say that we have found out that once you do complete the transaction if you want to keep the 6-months you cannot charge additional purchases on the card.

Call them and check-here is my experience with easy numbers used for example purposes.

Charged $1500 for trip. Then had other monthly misc. charges for $1,000. I thought I only had to pay the 1,000 for other the charges b/c the trip charge should be 0% interest for 6 months. Well, I got charged interest. I called them and was told I had to pay the monthly minimum in addition to the extra charges to receive no interest due. I guess you just have 6 months to pay it off interest free, but have to pay a minimum every month on the vacation charges. Once, I sent payment for my monthly misc. charges + the minimum payment, I no longer received interest charges.

Yes. Any overpayment on your monthly amount goes toward paying off the vacation. So if your next statement is $200 and you put $350 for payment the additional $150 goes toward paying off Disney trip.
